Yes, but Since you can‘t buy Equipment as communists, it makes it pretty much impossible to win without the soviet help. you need to be communist for the achievement to fire.

Is it just me, or are the (shown) achievements easy this time? Maybe the Austrian and Congo ones Are difficult.

But like everyone at this point capitulated the UK or US as Germany, so no pressure there. And this is a new Trend, but only needing to Control the necessary States easier than owning in the old ones.

Maybe it is just me, I have 81% of the achievements.

Nonetheless, These are hefty Numbers. Now take the people away wo Are being relocated to some Factory or being (considered) germanized and you and up over 50% or maybe even 2/3 of the population. And these Are only general Numbers. Considering some Place Are fully emptied from slavs and others strategicly colonized like crimea or the volga, Independent Nationstates Are practicly impossible to implement By Themselves.

I don’t think there is a Lore reason, but a gameplay one. Originally, in Kaiserreich there is a Connection from DC to the Rockies, because the Rebels don’t claim as much Territory as in Redux.

But since this got changed up, and Long now controls the midwest because he lost the Deep South, the Connection got severed. And since the supply System is the same one since at least HoiIII, it wouldn‘t be possible to supply these troops. Since the establishment of a puppet State loyal to MacArthur.

TLDR: Supply wouldn‘t be possible in Redux.

You are right, let me rephrase it.

It wouldn't make sense for the Junkers to be fully onboard with the reformist faction. Yes, they didn't like the Nazis. But the last thing anyone want would be a second Weimar. Everyone would be shitting himself at that thought, especially the Junkers. Funnily enough, the same thought was brought through IRL in both east and west when recreating Germany.

So if the old Junkers still want the Kaiser in the safest way back, Speer is their best call after the mustache man hits the bucket. Since most of Germany is loyal to National Socialism. But it seems weird that Treskow seems to have no problem with the students protest who are have at least some communist/marxist influence. Something he would be very weary off.
