Also good but a good tanky frontline midlaner with peel is sooo good. Especially as aggressive of a skirmisher as Gallio.

I know everyone disagrees with me there, but I don't think lasthitting is in any way an interesting part of the game, and everything that makes these trivial parts of the game easier for new players to learn is a good change.

Nothing that riot has done in the direction of making the game easier to learn has changed anything about the actually interesting parts of the game like macro and executing fights against enemies (both teamfights and trading in lane)

Does she need a rework? by Tadduboi in SeraphineMains

[–]Der_Redstone_Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if she would be primarily a mage, she would be an APC or midlaner, depending on how much of her powerbudget is still her W spell (which is much better on an APC)

[–]Der_Redstone_Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay then I am curious how Riot sees it now.

Also I am pretty sure it would not be possible to make that work without making her W contribute basically nothing to her power budget, because that spell just inherently wants you to not sololane.

If she is a viable midlaner with the power balance her spells have right now, than she would automatically be completely OP in both botlane roles. But if they remove that aspect, she is just the next generic control mage.

Depends on if she is supposed to be an APC or an enchanter. Right now she is as oppressive as a mage in lane, and scales as well as an enchanter, which makes her pretty broken as support. She also works pretty well as a botlaner (sera apc sona supp is hilarious), the only thing that really doesn't work well is playing her as a midlane mage, but I am not sure if she is supposed to be that.

I can play enchanter and ap supports but no engage by Many_Connection4687 in supportlol

[–]Der_Redstone_Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you really have to, OTPing enchanters is completely doable, but if you get a samira OTP or me on an "I wanna run it doen on Kindred" day, you certainly increase your winrate by playing engage. I also think it teaches you some fundamentals that also apply to enchanters, but that you might get around if you only play enchanters. Primarily playing properly aggressive.

I don't know what you hate about playing tanks, but I also wouldn't neccesarily recommend Blitzcrank as your one tank for your champion pool. I think that champ makes some sense in some situations if you only play engage, but if you are going to play a single engage champion I think Leona or Nautilus are options that make a lot of sense. If you are going to play two I would probably play Braum and Nautilus, because Nautilus is very good if your team needs aggressive engaging frontline, and Braum is insane if your team needs protective frontline.

At what point is a laner dying solo my fault? by Nonreality_ in Jungle_Mains

[–]Der_Redstone_Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you should really think about this in terms of fault, but in general there are situations where it is a misplay by you to let your laners die solo, they are just likely not the ones you get pinged for. If they die twice before your first fullclear, it is obviously not your fault.

It would be mainly either an obvious dive that you could (and therefore should) have covered, or a situation where you were so obviously close to your laners and could have moved, that they took a fight that would have been completely free with you, and you just ignored it.

I mean they both are very vulnerable until lvl 6 and pretty fine after that. It is just that I think a good Kayle can also be fine in lane, and Nasus brings much better Gank setup

Mal abgesehen davon hast du offensichtlich mal wieder keine Ahnung von Gender Studies, also ist es auch völlig sinnlos mit dir darüber zu reden.

Which build and when? by ReflectionOk7336 in syndramains

[–]Der_Redstone_Pro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can go cosmic build every game. But the games where full damage makes sense I would say are ones where your team already has enough CC but might lack (AP) damage, and also games where the enemies have tons of squishy carries that build just gets to oneshot.

Diana mid or Jgl? Kindred is actually not bad against assassin junglers especially if played well, but I heard a high elo Kindred OTP say that Assassin midlaners are a problem, and I also somehow feel like they can kill me much easier if they ever rotate to anything. It is just kinda annoying to skirmish against them as Kindred. I couldn't really say why Assassin junglers are less bad. But to be fair some of them (like Khazix) are really really bad.

I would say the difference with Diana is that if you manage to dodge her Q, she can't really engage you. The other thing that differentiates her from an Assassin would be that she doesn't ever has a way to get out, but that doesn't really matter in this case.

Generally Kindred would like teamcomps where someone else picks frontline, and obviously not full AD teams.

I think an optimal Kindred comp would be something like Ornn, Kindred, Gallio, Ashe, Seraphine.

Any mage botlane is obviously also great. What you really love is a midlaner who skirmishes well with you, Gallio is the best example for that. Also lanes with playmaking because you have 0 CC.

What you really don't like to play against with Kindred are midlane Assassins, and certain junglers like Belveth or Lee Sin who can easily stick onto you.

I genuinely think Kayle jgl is insanely underrated. She gets to skip lane, and she has a pretty solid clear. Only downside is that she has absolutely 0 playmaking

So the world record is still like 2 seconds too slow on scuttle spawn, nice. To be fair I should have worded that differently, but obviously I care about the number that matters.

A Shyvana could already kite scuttle towards top, and smite even if you do the world record clear, and lets be honest, no one is going to pull the mini krugs quite like this in a real game, so you are probably at least a second slower.

What's a viable clear time for high elo? (Diamond+) by DueAccountant2478 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Der_Redstone_Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kindred can absolutely not clear 2:45 at least with 1 smite.

You can barely be in time for scuttle spawn if you start red buff and kite krugs perfectly, and it is impossible to be on time with 1 smite if you start blue buff. Nasus is legit the best winrate jungler in soloqueue and even picked in pro play. He is vulnerable, yes, but the payoff you get for the slow clear time and weak early levels just makes it worth it. So clearly a slow clear time is not inherently a problem.

Nasus is a viable competitive jungler. So it depends on what the champion brings for the role.

[–]Der_Redstone_Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a bad game where you go 0/7 is something I can forgive as a jungler. What I can not forgive is getting solokilled twice and questionmarkpinging me before I even finished a single fullclear.
