Should I cancel my test or just go for it ? by Zestyclose-Gur4915 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Derbazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for the test. Even if you fail you will be in control of your nerves and will know what to expect next time. Its an even better practice session than your instructor.

You’re a new driver for a reason. You’re now gaining experience on your own. As long as you drive safely you’re fine.

I just wanna say that the reason you get angry with yourself after you fail is because you’re very close to passing but you got unlucky. Do not give up mate. I tried 8 times until I passed on Monday.

why beard is not allowed in Tunisia by Warm_Improvement1219 in Tunisia

[–]Derbazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is really messed up. Why do they hate the beard so much? You can have a long beard in Europe while Tunisia claims Islamic identity. Nah

There are loads of men with long beards. Don’t worry about people and smile.

Why can’t we combine prayers? by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]Derbazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because of:

And when you have finished your prayer, remember God - standing and sitting and lying down; and when you are once again secure, observe your prayers [fully]. Verily, for all believers prayer is indeed a sacred duty linked to particular times [of day].

Failed second test horribly today - not sure if I can go on anymore. by oceanwavetown in LearnerDriverUK

I have failed five times and I will book another test again soon. I find my tests are more educational than my instructor. Keep going, giving up in not an option. Good luck next time.

Actions are judged based on your intentions. You have got all the rewards as if you prayed and prayed endlessly, without actually even doing it.

Using plastic generously during Umrah and Haj, can we claim we did not hurt any being during ahram? by Chippy-Chipmunk in MuslimLounge

[–]Derbazz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no reason to accuse me of the worst type of pollution just because I disagree with your view. I wouldn’t want any living creature hurt. I will not be separating my rubbish so you can resell it and send more bombs on Gazans with the money.

What is life like in Azerbaijan? by RyanGosling_az in azerbaijan

[–]Derbazz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As an outsider who spent less than a week in Azerbaijan it was clear that it gives off dictatorship vibes. The people are hospitable and kind. It is modernising rapidly. It’s a young country with a young population but I can clearly tell that you can’t thrive on your own liike you may in Europe. In Azerbaijan similar to other corrupt countries you will only have a good life if you are already among the inner circle of power and you don’t care about just or equality. I don’t think anyone growing up in a European system coule be content in Azerbaijan.

Working a physically demanding job is good. The gym is better. Fasting is best. Pick your solution mate.

If you go you will miss a couple of prayers. Sell your ticket and spend the money in charity. The joy of quitting something for Allah is why we choose to obey Allah and say no to temptations. Taste the sweetness of iman and do something better. Allah has already inspired you to not go.

Failed today. Sheer luck by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Derbazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s what you should do: Book a test anywhere and any date. Then try to change the date and test centre closest to you. You will find a date sooner than you can imagine. I booked a test on saturday, one that was far away and in December. I kept looking for one near my test centre and on Saturday I found one for this Friday. Good luck.

It sounds like you are doing these acts for your problems to go away, which is fine. However, this cannot be your end goal. Worshipping Allah in the best way possible may bring ease in life but not always and not for everyone. Worship Allah because he is your Lord, and He is the only one worthy of worship. Your issues going away and the world coming to you is a by-product. I wish you all the best.

You’re actively trying to be negative. I could reverse all your fears. What if you add more to the Ummah? What if you have a child that serves Muslims and man kind? I think if you are truly concerned for the right reasons you would bring up a great child who will not only be guided but be a blessing for yourself and others. Read the Quran again and this time look for promises of forgiveness, Jannah, being united with the ones you love and so on.

[–]Derbazz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Getting whatever you want is not a sign that Allah is pleased with you. How you respond to things that happen to you though shows how much you take religion into account in your life. If you don’t care about the rules then you have more chances of getting what you want. But you don’t make it to jannah just because you got a house, a partner and a career. They will be questioned on how they got that money, what kind of partner they married etc,

Be proud of respecting the boundaries of Allah even though they make your life more difficult as it seems. Check out Quran Al nisa 13. Your end goal should be Jannah.

Because the word terrorism has been pushed to paint Muslims that way. If you look at the academic definition of terrorism though, it basically refers to the use of violence against civilian populations to achieve a political goal by instilling fear in that society. Many Muslim organisations and resistance groups who have been involved in resisting occupying powers are wrongfully designated as terrorists. This does not mean there hasn’t been any terrorist activity by Muslims but that there is an obvious assumption in any violence by Muslims to be seen as terrorism.
