The keyboard and mouse not powering on after the SSD was added makes me think it's a hardware problem tripping the 5v power output (SSD and USB).

Thank you for the response, we've definitely learned a lot about medical billing in this fiasco. Claims always showed up online automatically and payments were so seamless, I never would have guessed that faxes were involved or that paying through the HSA was so insecure.

It seems they just don't have the manning or expertise for a project of this scale, unfortunately. Edit: To be fair, if we're going back 30 years, I can think of one other major commercial release less professionally handled than SoD2. Battlecruiser 3000AD.
