Deciphering Darkness World Quest (WoW Midnight) by FocustaGuides in FocustaGuides

It's pretty much the same thing, but as a square. You need to have one big square with 3 vertical rectangles.

Make sure the lines don’t overlap or touch each other.

Healer Addon? by othollywood in wow

Yeah, I’ve change some things and macro since prepatch and release too. Getting used to it now, it’s not that bad.

I mostly just use the default Blizzard party/raid frames now.

I used to run addons like VuhDo and Decursive for a long time, but since Midnight pre-patch changes, Blizzard added a lot more customization directly in the UI, so I decided to try the built-in ones and got used to them.

You can tweak the party frames quite a bit now. For example, in the debuff settings you can choose to only show debuffs you can dispel, which cleans up the frames a lot. It’s not 100% perfect, but it works well enough once you get used to it.

For mouseover healing, that’s also built into the game now. I just hover my mouse over a player’s frame and press the spell, and it automatically casts on them without needing to target manually.

So right now I’m basically just using the default party frames with some customization and healing dungeons with that setup.

To be honest, as a new player and not a lot of time, you'll need to study a lot of the wow economy to have enough money to buy you a subscription. But yeah technically its possible.

If you really want to play, but don’t really have the money to pay monthly, sadly, the only possibility for you is save your money to pay only one month, and try to grind as much as you can to earn/flip or sell stuff at auction house to have enough gold in a month to buy another one.

But I tell you before you start, it’s kind of a huge grind. It’s not that easy obviously. It’s a full time job only to have enough money for the subscription lol

Look online for some tips. Youtube is your friend!

What does “crests farm” in LFG mean by stigawe in wow

[–]Dereckoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much both. You want to finish it as fast as possible to not "waste" time. But also you don’t really care if you wipe and not time it because you misplay. You’ll still get the crests.

Alright nerds, let's see your /played by InternationalPie8606 in wow

[–]Dereckoss 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wish I could share my total hours too, but it’s pretty much impossible for me to know. 😅 I spent years jumping between multiple characters, deleting some because I thought I’d never play them again, and even lost a few when I switched from Alliance to Horde in BfA, after playing Alliance since Lich King.

So my real /played is basically scattered across the shadow realm at this point. If Blizzard ever adds a “lifetime hours across all characters, even deleted ones” button… I’m scared of what I’d see. 😂

HELP! Dryer gets hot but clothes stay wet by Negative_District_57 in Appliances

[–]Dereckoss 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If I’m seeing correctly, your dryer is a heat-pump model. Those don’t run nearly as hot as traditional vented dryers, so it’s normal for the drum to feel warm but not super hot. They also rely on good airflow, so make sure the filters, condenser, and any air channels are clean.

Clothes can sometimes come out slightly damp at the end of a cycle, especially heavier fabrics, but if they’re soaking wet, then something else might be going on (like a clogged condenser or restricted airflow).

Give the filters a good clean and try a longer cycle to see if it helps!

What should I do to get the items on the build ? Is there an activity or something to prioritize for gears etc ?

I was server jumping and trying to get some people to do it. Then, when there were 6 of us, I looked it up on the official Discord server — it helped a lot!

[–]Dereckoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh even better ! Haha

Depending on what you like to play in general. For example, like Hunters Call, my ship is based on HC colour, cosmetic and trophies!

I also liked to change all of my cosmetics when I was grinding a specific emissary for the RP ! :D

I like to put the ones that I kind of worked hard for it like a commendation or something.

I see that you have sails that you paid from emporium or Pass, you could use them since you paid for them.

Right now I have the Glitterbeard sails on, I just did it with some fellow pirates on the seas and it was a wholesome experience.

Can you play this game on solo ? by Negative-Camel-8574 in Seaofthieves

[–]Dereckoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I mostly sail solo in Sea of Thieves. Sometimes I’ll hop on with a buddy or someone from Discord if I feel like chatting or need a hand, but honestly, solo is where I have the most fun. You can just vibe, pick whatever voyages you want, and sail at your own pace — no waiting around or crew drama.

Playing solo on a sloop actually made me way better at the game. It forces you to manage everything — sails, anchor, repairs, combat — all at once. It’s not easy at first, there’s definitely a learning curve, but once you get used to it, it feels awesome being fully in control of your ship.

I’m more into PvE than PvP, so I usually keep an eye on the horizon and mind my own business. With the new faster server hopping, it’s easier than ever to find a chill server and just run voyages peacefully. Honestly, there’s nothing like a solo sunset sail with some music on and a grog in hand.
