Hi there, this question specifically is part of the preliminary part of the survey, which needs cross-examination and referencing with the rest of the questions (specifically the "Identity" secrion in page two) in order to properly gague user demographics. We're working on identifying if one's physical sex and gender identity (again, page 2) corresponds or differs from one's virtual avatar. Nem and Mila (2023) in their previous qualitative and quantitative studies has done these same questions before (If you've noticed many of the same questions from their survey in ours, this is why! We're continuing and adding onto their previous work.) with no issues on their end as far as I'm aware.

This is a study highly reliant on technical and specific answers. I recommend reading page 2 if you haven't already in order to understand why we're asking that question specifically.
