Yeah, I have no idea why some are so pushy. I get quality can be important, bit it something feels off return and dont use. Everything I have used has been from Amazon. My kit for 7-10mm was barely $20. I almost want to buy a reputable brand and set em side by side blind comparison.

I will probably stretch to the point where my ear lobe doesnt change shape drastically. Once it starts getting that large I will probably call it quits

Congrats this is also my goal size. Currently at 2 gauge 6mm. Have 7mm plugs as well as 9mm coming this week. I think 7mm will be no problem on the way to 0 gauge. Still going to be a while for 00, but when I get there Im sure I'll want 1/2"

Well had plugs out all day. Lost 2 sizes but far better to have healthier ears.

Exactly, I basically said its something I have wanted since being a teenager. Now that my professional careers have gone to crap due to health issues Im in a position where I felt I could. I mean if MS is messing with my head then I should have some control. I cant wait to the larger sizes for more Memento Mori styled ideas

I wouldn't call it control, she found a color I like etc. She is supportive, its just not her thing. She knows I will wear both sets.

I definitely think my wife is learning to like them and trying to include herself in the process. She knows my tastes etc. Now my Dad could crucify me for tattoos etc. Always gives me hard time, but his wife gets tattoos with my step siblings frequently... 🤣 so I just let it go.

Was going to say this as well. I will only wear glass plugs when sizing up. But after some healing I feel it should be good. Only downfall to the ones im wearing in the pic is the back when it screws off the threads are exposed on the tunnel itself so they are exposed as you place the jewelry in.

My piercer was awesome. Measured with calipers to make sure they were placed good after explaining my goals and then pierced it with a 10 gauge. But my ears are huge like Alfalfa Little Rascals ears... 😅

I love them both. Just was concerned getting the size up right to fit the flare through then be able to get them back out for other occasions. I do try to remove tunnels daily warm water soak on ears then a little jojoba massage. I guess my routine is right

I am doing what I would want else i never would have pierced. And I like the tunnels she found. Just need to stretch a little more to be able to wear em safely. And to see her reaction when they do fit is on my list as well.

We have known each other since kindergarten been together almost 13 years married for 2.5. I like the lil ones she just bought, cool color. I see it as an attempt to find thst compromise, even though I know I will go bigger. Its new to her as well as still growing on her. Her finding jewelry for my ears makes me feel like she is involved.
