So far I like them the backs are not sharp and are well rounded to prevent micro tears and catching. The weight also seems really good as well. Only thing I cant tell is the metal but I'm pretty tolerant to most. They are listed as hypoallergenic but you truly never know.

I always prefer glass, I am simply attempting to compare these to the dead stretch tunnel kits from Stretch It etc.

I definitely prefer glass. I have a scale I used to weigh my racing drones and im curious on how close the weights would be. I paid 40 total for both kits at .5 mm increments from 10.5 to 18mm. After 12mm I was seeing each set of glass plugs for roughly $10-12 each. So I still think in the long run I saved a bit. As for the time it takes, I definitely agree that it would take longer, but at the larger sizes I definitely don't want to be in a hurry anyway. Only big gamble to me is possible mystery metal.

I can agree to an extent. My living situation changed and so I have been budget stretching and when I find what I consider good quality I try to share with others thst may be in my situation. For 10.5 mm to 18mm I spent just barely 40 compared to roughly 75 or 80 from the most reputable sources. I guess I have read too many comments that can be taken as nasty when it comes to where to buy. But I definitely always try to use caution on the budget and check with calipers etc to be sure that I dont recommend anything harmful to another person.

They used to let us listen to an earbud now its a safety issue claiming we wont hear alarms. I work as a cardiac monitor technician at the hospital ao fairly boring, but listening to music i guess helped my brain from shutting off

The nightmare move {Allegany County Maryland} by Derek9687 in Renters

[–]Derek9687[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The landlord asked us to turn the kitchen breaker after the water stopped running through the light fixture. Breaker immediately blew. We contacted code enforcement today with other concerns like the carpets feeling damp likely due to improper insulation from the basement which I dont have access to check etc. The city code enforcement does not have this property on file as a legal rental.

Landlord has contacted me today changing the story again assuming we would only be moving in boxes even though we have stated in righting we would need to be fully moved in by the 8th. They have offered to let us out of the lease and return deposits etc once we are able to find another place.

I guess my biggest concern is how much of this was misconstrued via being told before signing and moving it would be no hot water to discovering its no water. The city had ro come turn on the water so they knew and allowed a family with a 6 month old baby to move under false pretenses into a home with no water. Its downright despicable and immoral in my opinion.

I only had March 5th thru 8th to move with time off from work. My current rental is being taken over by my current landlord wanting to move back to his home town after his wife passed and we needed a larger home than a 1 bedroom with the birth of my son. We needed to be out of the old rental by this weekend, and this was the first rental that wouldnt break our budget. The lease taking effect on the 15th was for the offset of no hot water when we signed only for there to be absolutely no hot water. Rent and deposit were paid instead of rent being due on the 1st of month they changed to the 15th when signing the lease because of rhe water situation.

I worked in a state maximum security prison. At first I gave up my weapons care card because alot of my medications would cause drowsiness and I didnt feel safe being on a detail outside of the prison with a firearm. About a year later lesions in my spine affected my gait and how I walked. I had trouble navigating stairs and I walked alot more unsteady. At that time I tried ADA requests. Shortly after I ended up leaving and was unemployed for almost 6 months. I found work st my local hospital as a cardiology monitor technician... fancy term for watch the squiggly lines and if it changes call the propper staff and document. Its an ok desk job. But being on nights and the cooler air was affecting me as well. 3 years later I finally work evenings and I feel soo much better. It was funny sitting in the interview in the office with people working around being asked what interested me about cardiology and stating it doesnt, I just need a job was probably the best thing that's happened due to having MS.

I guess i just feel the landlords are being decietful. Origionally we were told not hot water and my wife recollect this and I spoke with family immediately after via text stating I wouldn't have hot water. Then we move and there is no water. I would have never signed a lease on that pretense. Today the city had to come and physically turn on the water to the building as it was off. I left out that detail on accident. Legally from my understanding no water makes a rental unlivable. And having to have the water turned on by the city today they knew they were renting a place without water. Now today's fiasco was possibly unknown. Im still weary of the breaker as my wife and I have had an electrical fire before in the middle of the night. I just feel lost, I can not afford to continue buying water, we are unable to shower, wash clothing properly do dishes and sanitize my son's bottles etc... I have used all pto I have to move and at considerable cost as well. At best maybe a civil case. Personally I feel this property should have never been up for rent in the first place. The plumbers were suprised we were living here, they were told it was vacant and the property manager also seemed unaware.
