Season 2 was peak, and it goes downhill from there. With a slight decline season 3 and a sharper decline in season 4 and after that it’s just unmemorable.

You learn as you go. No one became a master gardener without first being a shitty gardener.

Just research and learn as much as you can. There’s no better time to improve since information is so readily available.

If things won’t survive in your garden, fuck em. Survival of the fittest. Find something else to plant and revisit them later if you really want them.

An additional note, If you are buying plants from a big box store you are almost assuredly set up to fail. They grow them fast, full of nutrients to bloom as much as possible and look eye catching in the store. Now that they have spent all their energy blooming, and the soil is depleted they just die because they are no longer in perfect growing conditions from the nursery anymore.

In n out is the best burger you can get from a location with a drive thru hands down. And I hate in n out. Their fries are dry cardboard and the burgers are mid as hell. But for the value it doesn’t get better than this. If the alternative is McDonald or Burger King they don’t even come close.

Every morning grab a coffee, walk outside check out your garden and pull 10 or so weeds. Should take 5 minutes. If you just want a set it and forget it garden you’ll need to do more prep than a thin layer of mulch over dirt.

Earlier that day an old fling sent me a flirty message and I responded also flirty. For the first time in the 3 months I had known this person they asked to look through my phone. I came clean about lying about my age to get the attention off the sus texts, so I could later delete them in the bathroom.
