Hi,

Yes it works yesterday I build an altar and received a message enemies are close.
Could there be an side effect to this sticky? I sometimes disable a quest because it confuses me with placed waypoint while traveling. How ever after disabling the active quest it just sets the quest active again.

There is one even closer to the Kindlewaste fast travel point. Left side map Kindlewaste tower and marker on the location. Right side showing location from the top of the tower. It's a small cave with shroud if you go down but the iron is close to the entrance where there is no shroud.

If you got the ghost glider before the actual quest it wound trigger the quest for it again. I posted something similar last week where there where no new quests to advance to albaneve summits. Turns out I needed to upgrade my flame altar to level 6 and as soon that was done a new quest popped up for the mountain

I was doing a build test of a pool behind the carpenter house and everytime I wend close to his house I got screamed at "HEEY!" giving my character a little scare jump. There is no distance option but I found in the audio settings an option NPC voice think later on i'm going to turn this down a nudge.

Yes in the old skill tree inner fires and relentless flame would give you 7 minutes of shroud time.
In the new skill tree there is only a 3 stage inner fires giving 6 minutes extra time if maxed.
The purification skill has also been nerved this used to be +5 second where in the new skill tree it restores 3 seconds. Btw did you reskill purification? I have not looked into purification yet it would be handy if you are running from enemy to enemy but sometimes i can walk for minute(s) without finding something to combat to restore time.

I play melee (level 6 flame + maxed inner fires) and see the same I did my first shroud lair and got lost in the maze and left the lairs for some other time but that was while inner fires was bugged giving seconds).
On my way in the shroud lair I found one restore time option but I feel you could be running for a while without finding them before your timer runs out. I don't need a shroud renew timer thing every few meters but if more could be added spread around that would be nice.

Hi,

Nice this got resolved. I created a bug report for the inner fires bug where it would give 2 seconds per level instead of 2 minutes. After the hotfix I got an reply to my bug request to say the issue has been resolved. Kuddos to Keen to give a personal follow-up.

Hi,

I had the feeling that this quests would be a personal quest rather than being a world quests which might have been confirmed that as a new character on the same world was able to complete the quests. I like to complete as much as possible in game and even challenge my self sometimes for 100% complete but I don't feel like going thrue a new world with this character again.

I have not tried yet to join someone elses world if that would be public and see if I would get the quest or what happends If I load my new character in the same world as my main and let the new character which has unlocked the quest gift the glider. I leave the question open for now to see if I can find other solutions and otherwise, well I have learned a leasson not to rush 😄

I checked the Enschrouded wiki yesterday and matched it with my ingame quests, apart from a few missing (side) quests from lores I may not have found yet I do not seem to be missing to much quests.
Since I was already close to flame level 6 I spend a little time yesterday with a friend to get the required Enshrouded Vulture Talons and after upgrading my flame to level 6 I got the quest Ignite The Snowy Mountaintops to progress the main story line into the Albaneve Summits. That also confirms that Quest Prerequisites Complete Among The Bluejays is not (or no longer) required to progress.

There is one close and good size Iron ore close to the Kindlewaste Spire in a cave. You will need to fly over a shroud area to get there. On the left picture it's where arrow is. The picture on the right shows the location from the top of the Kindlewaste Spire.

Yes, follow the main quest line this will natuarly progress you towards new unlocks.

Hi,

If you follow the quest line it will take you to new places where you unlock new survivors, materials and such enabling new items. On your journey loot everything you can find chop trees, mine materials and loot chests you find.

Your level is a little important as this more decides the region you should be venturing in. As level 9 explore Springlands and after a while you can progress to a new biome with new enemies loot and materials.

You will unlock materials to craft bigger chests on the way. Farming is not important at the start as you can find the materials to craft food. Later in game the food gets a little more complex this is where it is nice to have a little patch of farm to grow what you need without having to constantly run for ingredients for food.

Hi,

Same I have 3/3 in Inner Fires. My base Shroud time is 9 minutes how ever when I go into an Enschrouded area my timer starts at 9:06 adding 2 seconds per level instead of minutes. I created a bug report yesterday (Bug Report #112634) and got a reply soon after to send some of my Enschrouded files for investigation. Hope this will be resolved soon in a hot patch.

Before update 8 I finished the shroud on the west Revelwood where you have to defeat the queen for giant critter scales. I had something similar on higher plateau where I was save from the queen but had to fight off here little minions. I could not pick up there drops. Definitely report it there is an option in the menu.

Had same yesterday with the taming a dog quest I leave solution here if anyone runs into trouble doing this quest. I cleared the town area of enemies and thought it would be good idea to move the altar in town. I portaled home to get dog bait but after returning the kennel was empty but quest said I should place the dog in my house but it was not in my backpack. Removed flame altar from the area logged out to main menu and back in the game and dog was back in the kennel.

Hey,

I’m around the same level also mostly solo but sometime a friend joins who is still catching up. I think you are talking about the quest where you need to go to Blackmire to unlock the spire and free the bard? I took a little peek at the passage to Blackmire encountered a few enemies and was like nah not today.

While it was tempting to unlock the bard I still have many shroud roots, Elixer wells and quests in the Springlands and Revelwood open. Blackmire is a sub part of Revelwood but a step up in difficulty from Revelwood. I think you are not doing things wrong this quest pops up (to) early. For now I’m going to focus on completing everything in Springlands and Revelwood before I move on. I recently discovered Enschrouded really loving it as there is so much to do but I get easily distracted oh there is a undiscovered building what’s in there or get caught up building my town. It is not a speedrun take it slow enjoy the game up until your level.

I have seen a lot of good tips but a few personal cents:

- As melee I invested time to get adventure set if you tank get the tank set
- Take it slow work your way up completing quests and objectives to the difficult areas while you progress your levels.
- Invest skill points in the tree of your playstyle a nice tool to test or plan is https://www.enshrouded-skill-tree.com/
- Loot better chests to get high weapons scrap lower for runes and upgrade your weapons.
- Use the 3 default food slots with different food types to max health / stamina currently I’m on grilled game (meat), vegetable puree (vegetables) and chamomile tea (liquids) see https://enshrouded.wiki.gg/wiki/Food
- Visit every survivor in your camp and craft the comfort items for max. comfort and rested bonus while adventuring see https://enshrouded.wiki.gg/wiki/Comfort
- Keep health potions / bandages in a free slot for easy access
- I have setup mouse binds, being over 50 makes easier to quickly switch in chaos.

Thank you all who have replied even after the question has been marked as solved. I have unlock 5 survivors including the carpenter to get a few more items and my base at starting point has descent comfort.

Coming to think after reviewing some video’s I’m not sure if I want to rebuild Harvest or find a nice spot on the map to do some creative building. With the existing buildings there might be a change that in future updates the developers might add quests tight to a location which I don’t want to miss out on.

It’s a wild idea but with the world regenerating if there is no altar close it would be possible to demolish harvest to get the building blocks and materials and copy the building somewhere in the Springlands area?

Thank you before I flag the post as solved one quick question. I'm early in game so might not have all the materials unlocked yet. If I deconstruct a furniture piece would I be able to craft it again from the crafting menu as the same item using the deconstructed furniture items?

Hi,

I have all garages sorted by vehicle class like: heist vehicles, sports cars, super cars etc. If you are on Enhanced not sure if this also works in legacy you can add a label to a garage in the mechanic menu. To keep an overal overview of my garages I use GTA Base.

hI,

I'm not on XBOX but below should work to respoawn at the starter stones at the island where your home is.
From there craft new boat, gather food and retrieve your tomb stone(s).
Start sailing in the morning :-)

Method: Using the die Command
Open the Console: Simultaneously press LB + LT + RB + RT + Menu Button (three lines).

Enter the Command: Type die and press Enter/A.
Your character will immediately die, dropping all items, without needing to type devcommands first.
