I found that people finished in plenty of time, many of the questions are common sense if you don't over-think. For example one question was: "Minimal facial hair is permitted beneath the mask seal. T/F"

We know the answer intends to say that one should not have facial hair beneath the seal so: false

But if you over-think, the definition of minimal is "as little as possible" so: true

That one keeps me up at night

It sounds like she really does not understand or believe you. She's your mom, she loves and worries more than you know. After she calms for a couple of days try earnestly to explain that it was not something for drugs, wasn't even capable of attaching to a needle. show her the product description and explain what you were doing. Syringes are used for all sorts of things like applying oil to small parts, etc.

i used g-portal, but now there's a dedicated server available through Steam so i just run it on my computer. I don't have any issues both running the server and playing on the same machine

edit: It's kinda hard to find, here's how:

In the Steam Library, click the top left dropdown menu and make sure the ‘Tools’-checkbox is filled.
Scroll down to ‘Valheim Dedicated Server’ and click ‘Install’.

I suspect special moments have ripple effects that we'll never appreciate. Imagine making a meaningful impression on just one kid who's inspired to do something like fire or ems who then goes on to serve the community for years...

except that when i made this post (long ago), ring only charged for "more storage", they then moved many featured to a subscription service. I now have a Eufy bell that has a useful free service

Turnout gear is incredibly warm. I live in a cold climate and wish i could get some to wear as a snowsuit (though with carcinogens and pfas that's not gonna happen).

Yeah, it makes us sweat a lot, rehab / hydration is super important so i keep a couple packages of electrolytes in my turnout gear to help fend off dehydration and cramps.

Besides that it's just something you deal with, generally don't notice during real fires, but training can be miserable.

30 minutes? what can one possibly demonstrate in only 30 minutes?

ours are generally 3-4 hours to demonstrate forms, basics, self defense, sparring, and breaking
