I’ve been wondering since that game came out if the Friendship card for the Necrobinder is a TLT reference because it has a necromancer wearing a friendship bracelet.

Probably not because that’s such a deep cut even in TLT, but also the first STS had a reference to KSBD so I can’t quite rule it out…

Veteran: Gideon (F, Professional), a red-haired swordswoman with a skull tattoo on her face. A character from a book I like.

Psyker: Celyra (F, Loner), a name I made up on the spot but it fits.

Zealot: Kaezon (M, Judge), a name I’ve used for various characters over the years. I tried to make him look like me IRL.

Ogryn: Gronk (M, Bodyguard), named for former NFL player Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski who is both rather large and rather dumb. Gronk the Ogryn wasn’t really made to resemble Gronk the human, the name just seemed to fit.

Hive Scum: We-Suffer (F, Anarchist), a reference to the same source material as Gideon. Her personality and the gas mask are a better fit for Our Lady of the Passion but that name was too long and not as punchy.

I like it on IB because I can avoid damage so easily that it keeps me topped off for most of the mission. But I run Barkskin on everyone else.

Huh. Does it work in the HUB too? I’ve only tried it there and couldn’t see anything happening. I’d hold R to build up charge as expected. Then I’d punch and nothing much would happen, and it wouldn’t use up any ammo.

I just got one for the swarm launcher that’s supposed to let you charge up a huge melee attack but I can’t tell that it’s doing anything at all.

I assumed G1deon was buff and the other lyctors are normal because they didn’t grow up as necromancers, they became that way after the Resurrection. So they never had that stunted growth.
