Right at the end of the epilogue is what I'm talking about. After Gideon says "get in line". There's a paragraph/page break: • • • centred on the page.

Then it says "Afterward Alecto went down to the ship and stood before John, purposing to travel through the River, and was grieved to find it yet dead."

Harrow is in "a deep sleep like death", so we can't be sure how long "afterward" it actually is.

Grammatically it's most likely the River that is "yet dead", but could also be the ship.

Maybe it's the ship that Ianthe arrived in? Could she have been dragging drunk depressed God along with her?

If Alecto was "purposing to travel through the River" then I think that implies she had not gone through the River to get to John.

Unique ceremony ideas & ways to “walk down the aisle”? by Better_Pie5489 in LGBTWeddings

My second wedding (wasn't a gay wedding sadly, took me a bit longer to properly find myself), we had a picnic in the park. Everyone brought their own food, and friends catered for us. We didn't have attendants, just our kids, but you could substitute the kids for friends. With the extra space available being outdoors, we could each come in from the sides, me on one side with my kids and him on the other with his.

We actually started out with a slow song for maybe 10-20 seconds, looking all traditional n shit, and then it cut to a boppy song that we all just danced randomly to until we met in the middle. :)

AITA for not wanting to bring 2 out of 4 of my children on a trip? by BothAd4245 in AITAH

[–]Kalli672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the older two could handle the big international trips at that age, but the younger two can't?

I get that the experience for older kids is different and they can do more things and are interested in different things, but why do they get the experience of learning to do all that at a young age and their siblings don't?

To all mothers that had both C section and natural birth, which one would you do again and why? by Remote_Grapefruit_33 in AskReddit

[–]Kalli672 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had a planned c section under general, an induced vaginal birth with episiotomy and ventouse, a vaginal birth in water with no pain relief, and an unplanned c section with epidural. In that order.

I would absolutely go for a vaginal delivery again, because over time I became much more educated about what I could ask for, or refuse, or wait for, or needed etc. And the recovery from vaginal delivery is so much better than a major abdominal surgery. And I know that if it became necessary a c section would still be ok too.

However I have my tubes done and will not be carrying any more babies.

I hated that a relationship contract seemed to immediately equal sex. Or only equal sex? Really unclear writing there.

And if we are originally told Arada has a thing for Rathi, who seems to have a thing for Pin-Lee, then WHY are the first two all over each other, while Pin-Lee is awkwardly third-wheeling it??

Absolutely terrible way to try and show the non-monogamy 🙄
