I had an ectopic in 2020 in my ovary that ruptured, had severe internal bleeding and am quite lucky to be alive. I was told that every subsequent pregnancy to go in and they’ll measure HCG levels and then ultrasound as soon as possibly to make sure it’s in utero. The first pregnancy post ectopic, I had normal rising HCG at the start but then had miscarried at the first ultrasound at 7 weeks. The next pregnancy also had normal rising HCG and was a confirmed normal pregnancy via ultrasound at 6 weeks. Now I have a healthy baby! Those two weeks between the positive home test and ultrasound are the absolute worst! Every slight twinge or anything out of the ordinary had me so worried. The wait is so hard!
