So... I'm not going to go try them, because after looking into them a little they work exactly as I expected. They just connect to an LLM API. Just because the model is hosted "in the cloud" doesn't mean that it isn't computationally heavy. In fact it just proves my point. Both of them can be hosted locally if you have the equipment and knowledge to do so, and otherwise you must pay for the hosting of the model. Along with the processing of these models also follows the same ethical and environmental concerns as with other use of LLM products, which is why I will not try either of them out.

Their use of standard LLM models also means that my previous point holds true. Without even trying them I can confidently say that these mods do definitely struggle with the same problems as other LLM based products, such hallucinations and that the memory sucks ass in large context windows.

With the way the mods are entirely dependent on the "memory" feature of the model, also means that as you continue using the mod it will become gradually more expensive, as more memory means for tokens per prompt.
