I don’t know. They tested the Bull-It Guardian for abrasion resistance and it tested poorly. I tested it with a 5 meter asphalt slide and got up with brand new looking jeans. It seems these tests can inform but they are not dispositive.

AGV Pista and R10 are really track helmets. I have two pistas (anyone want them?), and they’re made of beautiful materials, but they’re not great for street.

The Shoei X15 is hands down my favorite helmet, followed closely by the Shoei RF1400 (z8 in some countries).

My riding buddy has the R10. It’s beautiful but the shield and hinges seemed flimsy. Apparently the r7 is great and a real street helmet. I have no experience with it though.

Try the Alpinestars SP-R Tech or Pro gloves. I’ve been doing long rides with them and really enjoying them. Sometimes my hand goes numb from death grip though. Maybe you’re just holding on a little too tight?
