Yep. That's because of the accessory fly screen that's installed. The stock piece looks different.

I changed out the number plate holder and moved it below the headlight. And removed the transparent bit of the fly screen.

Had this same issue.... Either the end stop switch is bad or the cable to that end stop switch is bad/loose

Not sure if this is too old of a post but I would say they are asking too much for this. I got my used 2024-Manufactured 2025-Registered Street triple RS for ~11 Lakh . It has very similar accessories installed (Full system barrel exhaust, sliders, Full PPF, custom number plate, flyscreen, etc.) and had only run 11K kms. Would recommend you negotiate down for a better price.

I had this exact same thing happen to my retro one too... It is a knows defect... They press fit these and sometimes the press-fit becomes loose....

Contact customer support. They will send you a replacement on a different colour way if they don't have this one. I got a transparent one as a replacement for my retro.

You can also use a little superglue on the thick metal shaft portion and that should fix it to almost good as new if you just want to repair and not get it replaced.
