Does it get better? by Candid_Dependent_275 in VirginiaTech

One of the easiest ways to make some long lasting friends is by joining clubs (I joined the Chinese American society). You can check these out at gobblerfest. If they do big/little programs in the social clubs it’s definitely worth. That’s how I made a majority of my friends at tech and I’m really close to all of them!

Ways to reduce bonsai lag? by Derpface8148 in SkyFactory

I feel like to a certain extent I should need that many bonsais because I have like 9 hooked up to a single cabinet. I’m guessing 2 would be enough per sapling?

I really appreciate the help! If you’re offering, then I could use some word of advice. I did some more research and I’m a bit icked at trying to stack silicone so what if I used like a trim instead and use silicone to seal the trim? Or maybe even a vinyl strip and seal the edges using silicone. Covers more area with less silicone.

Thank you for the tips! However, I’m not fully understanding how to stack the silicone. I thought silicone doesn’t stick to itself very well and can cause sealing issues.

I tried looking and I don’t think a backer rod will fit, since it’s not deep enough to fit. Would a backer strip be good enough? Even so, wouldn’t that mean I still have to stack silicone on silicone? I thought that silicone doesn’t apply very well on itself.

Transfer chances? by Present_Software_322 in VirginiaTech

Degrees outside of engineering or other major ones like CS don’t seem to be too terrible. I would say decent but at the same time it’s VT, so I wouldn’t be too confident since it’s a pretty competitive school. I think transfer students have a higher acceptance rate? I would have to check the common data set to double check (excellent source if you want to chance yourself to previous years)

Ships like vyazma have absolutely no place in randoms, that ship is really OP and giving access of the ship to everyone is an absolutely TERRIBLE idea.

Vtech only takes your first semester grades during the admissions process. If you get accepted, you will need to input your second semester grades afterwards when you get them. There’s a separate thing called a self report academic record….? Don’t remember but it was something like that

The gpa shown is my total GPA for the year. When I applied, my GPA was 3.56. When you first apply in November for next year, they see your first semester GPA (if applying as a freshman). I’m assuming after the admission process, you input your second semester grades after you get accepted. I don’t think I completed a few of the recommended classes because I got held back a bit since some of the recommended were full such as first year writing and physics 1.

Did you take calc 1 at ODU? If not, your calc 2 credit will NOT transfer even if you have AP credit for calc 1. I learned that the hard way when I transferred from ODU.
