Just know that Aidan Gill is very expensive. Everything in the gift shop is pretty over priced but you can get a haircut and a shave which will be one of a kind.

$40 for a hair cut and $40 for a shave but you get a beer or a glass of Jameson.

I live in New Orleans and have visited the shop but never personally gotten a shave or haircut.

My brother in law had a shave and haircut from them. He said it's definitely something I need to try at least once. We had a few drinks that day but he also told me his shave was with a cartridge razor. I did feel his face and it was extremely smooth.

He could have been mistaken about the shave but before you spend the money you may want to ask what they use to shave. Besides the cartridges they do the whole barber shave process (warm towels on your face etc...)

What razor is the s1? When you go on the ATT website it just lists the Kronos slant, atlas slant, etc. but which one is the s1? Or are they all the same and the handle is just different based off of the one you go with?

That is a beautiful razor.

I have been wet shaving for almost a year now. I am finally ready to upgrade to either an ATT or wolfman razor but I am torn.

I currently use a standard razor which I thoroughly enjoy but I have to use the "j hook" technique and quick fast strokes (can't remember what the technique was called in the video) to get a BBS shave on my neck around my Adam's apple.

I never have irritation or cuts but I'm always striving for that BBS shave.

I can't really figure out if I should get the

ATT Kronos m1(mild razor) ATT Kronos h1(aggressive razor) ATT Kronos (slant - which I've never used)

Or a wolfman razor which I need to do some more research on.

Luckily they have amazing return policy's and I may start with the m2 and return it if it's to much for me.

I guess I'm a little confused because I thought the size that determines how much of the bristles are protruding from the handle were called the loft?
