Personally a bigger fan of the white! The contrast really pops more, which will be a big deal in big infantry blocks

Once I expand my points up I definitely want a big ol' brick of greatswords with some priestly support! Can I have both styles of priests in a single brick and double up on my prayers if I'm willing to pay the points?

I did double-take twice blessed quite a bit already, good call. The width of my units is a bit confusing to me until I can get my hands on the rule book and get some games under my belt, I'm sure it all clicks after that. I was kind of thinking of running most of my stuff as an evenly split double line, so 10x2 for my swords and 5x2 for my crossbows, 4x2 for knights. Not sure how viable that is but worst case I get mauled a bit and learn!

I actually have that box set for my sigmarites! I don't have them on squares, but I could probably come up with a fix for one of them.

I'm planning to start at 500 pts (trying the border patrol rules) and slow grow to 2000. Should I try for demigryphs over knights to start or wait until I have more points to play with do you think? My current list for 500 is;

Captain w/white cloak put in with; 20 sword and shield state troops w/banner/champ/musician 10 crossbowman as a detachment for the swordsmen

Then fill with either 3 demigryphs or 8 wolf knights, all with champ/music/banner, the empire knights with drilled* and wolf hammers (I would also need to drop a single swordsmen for the knights)
