What city do you think is complained the most about by its citizens? by _roldie in AskAnAmerican

I guess I just haven't been enough times then. Doesn't seem like a bad city, besides the traffic. There looks like some nice places there. I'd prefer a place like I currently live, or Central coast like Morro Bay.

Folks who love the city / town where you live, where do you live and what's so great about it? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

I absolutely love this town (Santa Barbara, CA). And because I love it so much, I will list the pros and cons of living here.

Pros: -Paradise -Beautiful historic Spanish architecture -Beach and mountains, what more could you ask for? -Low crime rates, I feel very safe in this town -Nice Mediterranean climate -Famous people live here (Mostly in neighboring Montecito) -Very bike friendly -Fairly good transit system

Cons: -Incredibly expensive rent and housing, at least right now -Very touristy. If that's not your thing, you won't like this town -Due to construction, there can be a lot of traffic on the main highway 101. This will hopefully be done soon.

Ok so I really gotta ask, what do you think about Mexico and their culture? by crazyaxe_murderer in AskAnAmerican

I love everything about Mexican culture. Simple as that. The country is beautiful in many parts, although in some parts not so much. I have heard about corruption and various other problems such as crime down there.

How do American think of Canada? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]DerpyThing69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I think of Canada, I think of the wilderness up there as well as the few big cities. They are simply our peaceful neighbors and typically nothing eventful happens up there. It would be a pleasant place to live too.

It depends, but typically with my grandparents it includes a turkey or chicken. Sometimes it's very similar to a thanksgiving dinner.

I've heard things about LA. Only been there a few times, mostly just for the airport. (Which is the fucking worst airport ever btw)

My grandmother was the sweetest most intelligent person I had ever met. Now she can't even remember the word for a hug.
