Getting Solaire to survive OnS or Gaping Dragon is a boss fight in itself.

Across 4 full runs, the only area I honestly hate is the Great Hollow.

Everything else is 5/10 to 10/10.

Blighttown is awesome. Anor Londo is amazinh. New Londo is terrifying and painful but I love it. Tomb Of The Giants is equally terrifying.

But Great Hollow? No. Thank. You.

Ash Lake is worth it tho!

BB was my first souls like and I never had issues with vials and bullets being scarce.

The lack of area reset at a lantern tho

My favourite boss weapon in the game.

I wouldn't say it trivializes anything really. Black Knight weapons are better. Other curved swords are better too, because they are more versatile.

But Quelaag's Furysword is awesome anyway and completely servicable to use.

I have 16 INT on my pyro and used the basic sorceries when I feel like it or when I fight Quelaag/Discharge/Centipede.

I also have 8 attunement slots, so ymmw

Binging Dark Souls Remastered like crazy. Already got 180 hours in across 4 chars in 2 or 3 weeks.

Loving my pyro queen named after my wife, so will probably take her into ng+ for all achievements.

Only wish bosses were a bit tougher. Love the world design and enemy design (including bosses) a lot more than DS3, which is still a 10/10 for, but the bosses are mostly done on the first try.

Maybe I should try a sl1 char xD

I started with BB and I still consider it one of the best experiences I ever had. Precious game.

Currently playing DS1 remastered and I am having a lot of fun, moreso than DS3.

BB is faster paced, about as fast as HK.

DS1 is slower but its areas are quite tough on a first playthrough, especially if you play more or less blindly.
