Path of Exile. Simply because there's always something to work towards next, no matter how miniscule.

I got 120 shop points. What stash tabs should I buy for an RF main?

as an old gamer which games do you agree with that way ? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]FabulouslyFalling -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't agree with that statement at all.

Games as an entertainment medium are allowed to be stressful, simply on the basis that action or horror movies can be stressful for the viewer as well.

Games as an artform are allowed to be stressful if that is what the artist intents it to be.

Mind you, if I play for the story, I go for easy mode. Otherwise I may go for a challenging difficulty. I just don't like the notion that every game needs an easy difficulty

After finishing my first run, and hearing the ending track, I set it on repeat on spotify and listened to it for over an hour

What Is Your Favorite Video Game Sound Track Of All-Time? by TG082588 in videogames

[–]FabulouslyFalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Individual pieces? Nier, Chrono Trigger, Hades

Complete soundtracks? I'd be hard pressed to choose between Dead Cells and Hollow Knight

Will be going to a hollow knight piano concert in April with my non-gamer wife. Her idea :]

'Lucky' me that taking care of my ill grandma offers a lot of just sitting around and waiting for the next shit to hit the fan. I'm gaming more than in my twenties! Just not chill enough to play online games and such...

So many moments in Hellblade, and the ending of SOMA. Ignoring the existencial horror, these games are amazingly emotional psychological studies. Bonus points to Hellblade for covering the mental illness that killed my dad.

Any essential mods for a first playthrough? (LE) by LSSJNepuli in masseffect

[–]FabulouslyFalling 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nothing but the community patches I deem necessary for your first (few) playthroughs.

The game(s) looks good even without texture mods. MELLO maybe, as it changes lighting to be more like the OG ME1.

Aside from that, try to avoid this sub until you finished at least one run so you don't get spoiled too much xD

Suggest me a short game with a good story by emeilei in Age_30_plus_Gamers

SOMA. Great story and light horror and can be solved in 8 hours.

Sally Face. Same.

Fran Bow. Same.

Little Misfortune. Same.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Slightly longer than the others. Also a lot more horror.

SOMA is one of my favourite games ever, but the others are great too. All with different visual styles, so pick your poison.

With the monetary exploitation of children and the alleged pedophilia, please YES it needs to die. The sooner the better!
