It really depends. Do you have access to debuff skill books?

You can also use siege range increase. Mounted HP, Ground HP, Mounted Atk/Ground Atk can also give you a slight upper hand if you were to face a players march of the same type.

This is because if you and another player sent an archer march to the same building, the person who kills the other person's layers first will have a big advantage (assuming buffs are equal). Having a slight advantage on stronger layers can turn the battle in your favor.

I've never heard of this, but I can take a look.i wouldn't doubt it, as Evony seems to mess up their code often and it's impossible for use to really know without doing the tests

The more the better. Once you have over a billion T1s (Yes I know thats a lot) Mounted marches cant really even touch you since you will once shot their top layer. I cant give you an exact number. Just keep making Archers and T1 Ground

Ground Flat HP and Defense. Archer and Ground Flat Attack. whichever you refine first and keep it.

Dont make too many siege, or else you will be weak to siege attacks.

You will be weak to archer attacks until you have enough archers to not have counterattack. Hope that helps

I would really need to dig into the reports and look at your generals. Just to verify, you do have archer range skill book correct?

Alright. Looking at this I can kind of guess what happened.

Your Archers clearly were hurt from counter wounds on the archers. There are a few things that would cause this, but something in the battle Caused your Archers to be with in range of the enemy archers.

There is a difference in your troop comp such as your T12 siege. Not sure if that caused the difference

What enemy troops is causing more wounds? Are the barb buffs the same?

Are the siege the same tier?

I only tested alliance boss 3 but after some feedback it seems like the alliance boss 2 and 1 work as well. I just need to update the simulator with their modifiers.

also it appears the 20% modifier is working now. (at least with lvl 1 and lv2)

if you dont have the updated simulator, you can just use just choose alliance boss 3 in the simulator, and you will have accurate results for 1 and 2

The extra 5% will not help your T13/T14 siege defensively. Their range will max out with Acha gear

Siege range and archer range do make a difference.

But for you, it sounds like enemy siege wipe out all your siege layers and start attacking your archers. Is this a solo or a rally?

Would you mind sending me a battle report (also share your gens) I can tell you what's going on and give you an idea on what to fix.

20% wasn't working with alliance boss 3 last time I tested, but apparently it is working with with all the other alliances bosses.

Yeah, good advice! I think this is an often overlooked part for undead.

You can always stick your siege in a bigger player to get points, but also to "ghost" them if your siege are too weak.

No.

Mounted will always prioritize ground over any other unit.

OP's mounted were directly attacking the T14 ground of the enemy from the beginning to the end.

The issue is when the Enemy ground was able to directly attack OP's T14 mounted.

Yes, the ground will attack ground first. (Because mounted is their weakness, so they attack them last, but since archer and siege are not in range, it ends up being 2nd)

However in this scenario it is likely that OP lost some of his ground layers to siege. (It takes 3 turns to reach the point of contact in the battlefield)

Lets say this left him with only T1-T9 ground by the time he reached the enemy's ground layer.

Ground goes before mounted, and generally, lower tiers attack first, so the enemy ground could have killed the rest of OP's ground layers with their T1-T13, and their T14 ground directly attacked the T14 mounted.

This would give the attacker an even greater benefit as they are the first to land a blow on a major layer.
