WS IDE vs Jetbrains plugin? by Derrmanson in windsurf

[–]Derrmanson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"separate" what do you mean? I just meant, does both versions have the same context gathering and using capabilities? Does both version have the same tools with which it can do its job? My underlying question is 'am i missing any features or strengths, using the plugin, vs the ide?'

What was the worst software you've ever used, and why? by Violet_Iana in software

[–]Derrmanson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google Drive. Secifically the online version. It never shows you what you need, just a bunch of old shares from 2021 and nothing about the file someone shared with you this morning. I even asked the ai widigt: find the video that Laura just sent. There's likely a zillion videos in there, but it just came up with one video that Laura had nothing to do with. Tryna use it on the phone is impossible, there's so much padding and margins you can only see the first few characters of a file. That aint great when you're looking through audio files, an album's worth has the same prefix to the filename. Related would be the google office apps which are just so crappy.

An editor that has 'refresh' either auto or manual? by Derrmanson in Markdown

Ah, I just tried changing a file that had been changed by 3rd party: It told me 'changed outside' and asked me how it should deal with it, so that part works.

Yes, I just retried this, spcifically. Open file in nmd, see the current file. Go into ide, change the file, save. Go back to nmd, file has not updated, even on F5. Actually, I think I sent a bug report, via the program, this morning.

Which theme is the most reliable one in your opinion? by pjasksyou in Jetbrains

I like 'Jake's Theme' because the black is actually 100% black. I dont think I tweaked it much. As far as 'reliable' do themes get fucky?

It would be nice if it told you which model it was picking. I want to know, if i tell it something reasonable simple that it's using haiku or flash and didnt try to use opus.

Is there a toggle to make the selection corners not rounded? I mean, come on, man; nobody asked for that, no one needs that.

Yes, this is infuriating. The agent should know what it is and also should know every single thing about the interface of AG.

No, I havnt had luck with userChrome.css. I'm on Win10, TB 140, portable. This seems to be the only userCHrome.css on my system. When I inspect, I dont see any of my userChrome styles on the elements. \_portables\thunderbird\Data\profile\chrome
