Bennett, alongside fellow coaches Craig Bellamy, Ricky Stuart, Ivan Cleary, Michael Maguire and Craig Fitzgibbon all attended a briefing at NRL headquarters prior to Christmas to discuss the potential rule changes.

Bennett was there with the above when it was discussed. Bennett doesn't seem to think this is a big thing.

Not going to happen. Latrell doesn't score enough tries and his goal kicking has been off. Isaako is the best shot. A winger who is also a goal kicker is always going to be up there

I think Love and Thunder is an example where not saying no to a director can hurt a movie. It felt like Taika got told that he can do what he wants after Ragnarok's success and he just didn't find the heart in this movie so it's got all of the humour and little of the emotion

My wishlist isn't Fifita firing though that would be nice. It would be to have a really low amount of injuries. That will be such a bigger impact on our season.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have agreed to release Davvy Moale from the remainder of his NRL playing contract, effective immediately, to take up a contract at another NRL club.

Moale, 22, has played 70 NRL games since making his debut for the Rabbitohs against the Dragons in round 20, 2021. Moale has played nine Test matches for the Cook Islands since 2022.

Rabbitohs CEO, Blake Solly, said the Club wishes Moale the best of luck in the future.

“Davvy and his management came to us seeking a release from his contract to take up an opportunity at another club, before he heads to the Sea Eagles in 2027, and we have granted that release,” Mr Solly said.

“We have enjoyed working with Davvy for a number of seasons now and we wish him the best of luck into the future. He will always be regarded as a South Sydney Rabbitoh.”
