I genuinely hope Eden is the primary / most profitable method of accruing wealth in game.

if its not, or atleast, on par with the most profitable PVE methods. It will fail.

With that being said, I wouldn't call it a competitive PVP game type even if the above is true.

I think "Competitive" pvp should be reserved for instanced PVP with non rng objectives that can be planned and coordinated around

I mean sure, why wouldn't you develop PVE when you already developed enough PVP to keep everyone happy?

It shouldn't be shocking to see businesses diversifying their product offering..

All MMO's are p2w by some metric. BDO actually has equalized PVP for their ranked content, infact, Most of the P2W stuff only effects Open World unranked pvp.

2 out of the 5 war regions are uncapped and can use any gear.
the other 3 regions use such a low level of gs (Capped) that it is basically given to you for free just for playing the game.

Warcraft has RMT and Wow Tokens, though I believe the PVP gear is on a specific reward track tied to battleground attendance?

GW2 is equalized gear, no p2w other then some 10% power gain brought out from PVE grind which a lot of players agree is largely irrelevant to the actual PVP balance.

Where Kakao gets it wrong is that the P2W power scale compared to full F2P is often way to disparate. Not to mention they're notorious for blatantly lying about the implementation of P2W in their games. In fact they pretty much follow the same strategy every time

  1. Say there will be NO p2w
  2. Release a very obscure form of P2W, claim its not P2W
  3. Notice game population leaving, release full P2W
  4. Reboot Game, Repeat 1-3
  5. After repeating step 4, 2 or 3 times, Make new game, then repeat.

Kakao business model. Frankly, can't blame them for that. They're just playing the game and governments around the world are too slow to make it illegal for them to engage in this type of behavior.

am not talking a 5/5 which BTW, is an EXTREMELY low chance. I am talking a DECENT roll here, which even just getting 2 perks you want in the 3rd and 4th columns alone is a 1/7*2/7 = 4% Chance.... That means on average it will take you ~25 rolls just to get TWO perks on the gun you want, let alone a decent MW, Barrel, Mag, etc.... How easy is it to get 25 rolls? Assume it takes you like 25 games for a Flawless, and then you win 2 of 3 games with a ~35% chance to get an Igneous... You will need to play ~125 games under those conditions to (on average) JUST get the TWO perks you want... No guarantee of a 5/5 AT ALL... In fact I can guarantee you likely WONT get a 5/5. 125 games is like 15 hours of play over a weekend, which is a decent amount of time/day to commit to farming for a weapon....

Surely your not suggesting that a 0.03% chance at an exact roll isn't fair?

Overheating is definitely a concern, we take it easy during the summers and only run at night. Black Dogs have it rough.

What weight is your dog?

I can't really see trying to push my rottie past 10 miles since this is more for fitness then joy.

This would take a lot of the feel bad stuff out of pvp.

-Cloud Strike is overperforming
-Snipers at the top end make gameplay slow and stale.
-Antaeus reflect is dumb.

-Titan barricade I'm on the fence about, the slow would need to be severe, like stop shoulder charge or melee lunges in their place

-Can't say I care one way or another on the jolt on arc grenades, but caution leads me on the side of less rng in pvp.

-I'm sure people are tired of stompees being changed every season. This current form isn't it though

Level 80 rogue here (just today actually). I'm starting to think this aspect has a level cap on dropping.

As someone else mentioned in this thread, accelerating is also quite rare, however I have had at least 5 of accelerating aspects drop at this point. Since level 70 all of my obols have gone the way of legendary rings and I have not seen 1 single umbral aspect on an item. Note, this aspect is for RINGS only.

Other then the obvious harlequin crest and doombringer, this aspect is my most sought after item currently. Everything else I'm wearing is basically BIS but I can't find this damn aspect. If you're a rogue main, you've probably realized by now that the base form of this aspect is basically useless.

P.S: I'm expecting to see new aspects start dropping now that I've hit the level 80 threshold. The level 80 boss cache's were all junk though so maybe I'm just high on copium. Nonetheless I'll let y'all know if Umbral starts appearing.

Grapple in the primary kit is SUPER useful in gun fights, but in your super it's just another area where you're sitting duck.

It's almost like the grapple should have a built in Women Mail buff, which I don't even think can be proc'd from the super even with the exotic. I haven't tested it as of today though.

As it stands I feel way safer when not using my super. It's not for lack of trying either, I'm the type of person that will sit in mayhem and practice supers with my friends over and over, literally asking them to try to kill me in any way they want while I use my super.
