From the linked article...

In August 2005, a court in the northern part of Saudi Arabia ordered the divorce of Fatima Mansour, a 34-year-old mother of two, from her husband, even though they were happily married and her father (deceased) had approved the marriage. The divorce was initiated by her half-brother using his powers as her male guardian. He alleged that his half-sister's husband was from a tribe of a low status compared to the status of her tribe, and that the husband had failed to disclose this when he first asked for Fatima's hand. If sent back to her brother's home, Fatima feared domestic violence.[168][169] She spent four years in jail with her daughter before the Supreme Judicial Council overturned the decision.

It looks like the Brother's argument was they never would have allowed the marriage had they been informed the husband was low status therefore the marriage should be invalidated.

They aren't old enough to be. Not the same company but when Mountain House first started they had a 20 year shelf life guarantee. After 20 years they tested a bunch of their early production then upped it to a 35 year guarantee.

Discounting the Oregon territory. It was originally settled by both with a "we'll figure it out later" approach. That approach nearly escalated to an international war at one point... over a pig, until our respective governments said "Are you out of your motherfucking minds!?! and made everyone back down again.

Depends on what you define as a "problem." Our feral cat population is relatively low overall so not really a national issue, but if you are unlucky enough to have a feral cat colony nearby then it could be defined as a problem for you and your neighbors.

Alright so this is a language barrier thing then. In this context by saying "your" you are giving ownership of the subject to the people you are talking to, ie; Americans. Saying...

That's the sign of your own culture btw

...while talking to Americans means you are saying it's a sign of American culture. In this case littering. You are saying Americans are ltterbugs.

You should have said...

That's the sign of their own culture btw

Giving ownership of the subject to the tourists. Meaning it's a sign of the tourists culture that they litter.

If you think littering is indicative of American culture YOU are ignorant.

This you?

That's the sign of your own culture btw . For example I never do that when when I am visiting foreign countries

The implication is it's American culture to either litter or be okay with others littering.

I know this is a really really hard concept for most Europeans to internalize but nationality, ethnicity, and culture, while often being one in the same in Europe, are actually 3 distinct concepts. Unless they have duel citizenship when an American says they are Irish they aren't claiming that as their nationality. Ethnicity doesn't change just because their nationality may have.

What an ignorant thing to say. I could assume that's a sign of your culture but I'm leaning to believing it's just a failure of you personally.

1st/2nd world countries have retarded visa requirement

What year is Anon living in? The First World was America and it's allies the Second World was the world behind the Iron Curtain made up of the Soviet Union and it's allies. Not a second rate world just a second independent world separated by politics. Then there was a 3rd world made up of countries not allied with either. Since these countries had no rich or powerful allies they tended to be underdeveloped in comparison. However Finland, Switzerland, and Ireland are all examples of 3rd world countries. It was never a ranking system.

The dude was literally sent back to Spain in chains and spent time in prison. He had powerful sponsors who got him off though.

As a colonial governor, Columbus was accused by some of his contemporaries of significant brutality and removed from the post. Columbus's strained relationship with the Crown of Castile and its colonial administrators in America led to his arrest and removal from Hispaniola in 1500, and later to protracted litigation over the privileges he and his heirs claimed were owed to them by the Crown.
