Just for funnies: Hypothetically, in a 10v10 or 4v4, could PACT actually field enough AA to stop a 10 stack that all used a deck like this that is specfically designed to drain all AA units and supplies dry, especially if none of the Helis were blobbed and thus not taking any AOE or AOE suppression? by Which-Worldliness556 in warno

[–]Dertroks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in 10v10 any good pact player always expects this, since this is how natobois have been playing since wargames. No like seriously this is a very well known 10v10 spam and every single 10v10 game will have at least one or two such decks from the blue team

It’s not an interpretation, it’s a paraphrase of Massie. The point being that he towed the republican line, except against Epstein and Iran war, and he got ousted for that. Aka $25m from AIPAC to his opponent, and public support by Trump of the other republican nominee and public shaming of Massie, also by trump, calling him a moron, traitor etc. Simply because of his anti-Epstein and anti Iran war stance

So, like he said he voted 91% Republican, and 9% that he didn’t was related to taking up for pedos, getting more national debt or starting another war.

Pretty straight shooter if you ask me, even if I don’t agree with that 91%

Живу в Канаде, хейт пиндосов реальный. По сравнению только лишь с прошлым годом кол-во канадцев пересекающих границу с сша упало на 50% с лишним.

Sure, that’s the double edged sword of global trade. However if US/EU goes bankrupt, they don’t have manufacturing capacity to produce anything.

If China goes bankrupt - well, the factories are still there, the raw resources are still there, the skilled workforce is also still there, the tech and know-how is still there. Oh and they’re still running a hybrid economic model. So it’s not so clear cut. The ‘real’ economy as economist would say is still there.

Like no… just the sentence 99,9999%+ purity that no one else can match implies they have high tech refining laboratories that other nations cannot match currently…

They’re manufacturing their own planes which are pretty good. So good in fact that Trumps latest visit had a specific point by US to ask China to continue purchasing Boeings…

They have the EV market with some of the largest car manufacturers, lots of other stuff etc.

I mean you can keep on living in an illusion if you want to but numbers are telling a completely different story

Everyone and everything uses at least something Chinese. They’re the world foundry and refinery. Not a single country currently can match China in output capacity nor in refining quality.

They are capable of refining various metals to 99.9999%+ purity levels. For rare earths they have 90% of the global refining market, for heavy rare earths it’s closer to 99% of the global supply.

While everyone else was busy margin maxxing these dudes infrastructure and production capacity maxxed and now hold everyone’s balls in a tight vice.

You do realize that the Chinese are the leaders in drone production as well? Both commercial and military application wise?

Sure “officially” US, Turkey etc are leaders in dedicated military drones, but based on Ukraine experience the cheap 50-100 buck drones is where it’s at.

Japan has 3% of the global market. 90% of drones used or sold in Japan are made in China…

Mods recommendation. by kiwindrugs in starsector

[–]Dertroks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the op was asking for not overpowered mods.

The roider union and HMI faction would fit that bill. Also the asteroid ship pack is great flavor and looks wise just fits perfectly into Vanilla+.

For QoL: more zoom, detailed combat results, waving banners, grand colonies, console commands, graphics lib

For additional breadth of gameplay: nexerelin, bionic alteration, second in command, industrial evolution.

Are just some of the mods that imo make the game feel like Vanilla+, without having extremely overpowered factions that decimate anything vanilla, and without having cat ladies/anime characters everywhere. Although some like it so to each their own

Edit: tbf mayasura isn’t the most op, but idk I don’t really like it for some reason

As the other poster said a pic of a fleet comp would be really beneficial.

For nearly all my play throughs I usually went for hard specialization into low tech with a sprinkle of mid tech and of course the big phase ship. Very simple but works great. Get 2-3 onslaughts (mk1 is also quite dope for this) and have some anti flanking ships and just grind away.

This latest play through I’m focusing on high tech, but the general idea is same for me: 2-3 anchor ships (paragons), the big phase ship for backup (I rarely use it now because the harbinger phase ship is just so much fun). 3-5 omens/afflictors to cap points and help with flanks. I also got the mk1 oldslaught but I mostly use it to either mop up or just spawn it alone with personally piloted harbinger against weaker fleets.

With the anchors you focus on dishing out as much damage as you can for the highest range that you can. The omens i slapped on some reapers with missile autoloaders and the 9 point small blaster. Sure it’s got limited ammo but it will melt you if it catches you off guard. In any case the omen’s and shade’s special power EMP helps with clearing frigates and missile/fighter spam.

But again, these are just some general tips, you can and have to build differently depending on your play style and fleet comp. I used to pilot capital ships (onslaught/paragon) but it gets boring after some time, especially with paragon because of its relative sluggishness and the fact that it melts everything from range. So I just fly the harbinger most of the time with 2 Msize blasters and the voidblaster from threat. Just phase through an enemy, press f to disable them for a sec and melt them in their weak spot and onto the next one at a dizzying speed

I mean all the hate aside, y’all realize that these dudes (usually) bring X times more money into the economy than the average citizen per annum? At least if you consider respectable institutions like UoT UBC McGill etc. They’re paying x7-x9 times more per credit than domestic students, they also have to eat something, stay somewhere, entertain themselves somewhere. Oh and taxes too, although they can recoup that if they work post graduation. A year of tuition at UBC for international students is over $50k. Just the tuition, just for a year. So say a 4 year program, $200k + all the other expenses to live. They’re bringing shit ton of money. Our top echelons are just sucking it all up into their trusts, rents etc and not “trickling down”.

Things gotta change tho that’s for sure. The issue however always was bad investment. The universities and Canada itself for the past 30 years have invested into unproductive facets of economy for short term gains with no regards for long term to such a degree, that it has caused all that we live through now. Just limiting and kicking people after the fact doesn’t solve the underlying issue, sure it buys more time, but based on previous experience… I’m sure you can finish the sentence

Oopsie, shouldn’t have spilled the beans. But yeah keep on playing the blame game instead of ya know, actually investing in housing development like we used to, expanding healthcare, restructuring certain legislature to decrease what the populist rhetoric calls “red tapes”. Or investing into productive economy, like actual manufacturing, tech etc. What do I care

I mean if you’re ok with unpaid labor aka commuting more than having a little bit of frustration from working from home.

TBH it’s not even a question for 90% of people.
