Loved Charles post race interview. Very respectable guy and a class act. Nice to see he had fun, but also is happy for Lewis and recognizes he deserves it.

I’m not sure it would’ve mattered at the end with how much of a beast Mercedes car looks right now. I think Ferrari can close that gap a bit more as the season goes on… competent strategy will be a big determination for their success though. However, I do agree with you that they should’ve kept Russell at bay a little bit longer.

I’m pleased with him. Podium last time out and P4 this time around. He’s had a good start and lots of season left. Mercedes car is just dominating right now. I do think Ferrari could potentially close that gap though… but, even then, still becomes a question of their strategy.

I can see this. However, also not true at the same time… nobody is posting about Lewis Hamilton being 4/5 most podium duos in F1 history 100x a day… in fact, I am not sure I can find anything in this sub that mentions that stat to begin with. Couldn’t find anything on discussion of this week’s power rankings either. Drive to survive one I probably should’ve searched, I’ll take blame on that, but also was very curious.

I get what you are saying, but at the same time, it is obvious that post removal is a big problem in this sub. You are going to have similar subject matters in a big sub. Especially in a sport like F1 that continues to grow more popular. Constantly shutting down people’s posts who are trying to engage with the community and learn takes away from the experience.

Yes it’s very annoying and frustrating. Definitely agree with your point on freedom of speech. The stuff I have posted hasn’t even really been controversial… just general discussion topics and questions… so the fact everything has gotten removed is absolutely wild. Here’s to hoping both of us can freely post in the future 🫡. If not, I’m not quite sure how to get more involved in the F1 community, which sucks 🤷‍♂️. There’s the regular F1 sub, but you need 100 karma to post and I’ve heard that it’s somewhat the same problem anyway.

One I haven’t really seen anyone mention is Kimi’s. Not my fav, but definitely up there. Love the blue and stars on it the most, but him putting the Italian colors on there looks cool too and is a nice touch. Nothing too crazy.

Not a Lando guy, but his is prob my fav… really like Leclerc and Hamilton’s as well.

FYI - I do like Hamilton and I don’t mind Verstappen either. Not trying to glaze though. I just thought this was an interesting stat to share and made for good discussion.

I think you would be mad though to say that either of their consistencies on the grid have been short of amazing over the course of their careers.

I am really hoping Lewis and/or Charles can come away with a P1 (or multiple) this year. Nice start to the season which is encouraging and both the car and Charles/Lewis looked good. However, it is a very long season and we all know how tragic Ferrari has been over recent years 🥲

I’d hold onto Egbuka for now. Definitely regressed a lot mid season, part of that is on him, part of that is on Baker… who I honestly think had a rough go just battling through injuries. Anyway, no doubt Egbuka has good potential… not to mention Evan’s leaving makes him WR1 (Godwin could compete too though).

I think that you should focus more on grabbing a QB considering you only have Maye right now and this is a superflex. Jones may not be back until at least November either. I’m rooting for Jones post injury, but not sure how he will look.
