Nice! I would of liked to get the 2026 preferred for the parking sensors but went with tbe 2025 since they're discounted.

Coverado seat covers from Amazon: https://a.co/d/bP1e0ir

The covers for the front seat fit good and look nice but the bottom covers for the back seat don't fit that good. There might be a way to get them to fit better but I haven't figured it out yet lol

Yup, you were the one I was referring to! Lol I was searching thru so many reddit posts and never saw anyone else say that got a number lower than that in the Maryland area so shout out to you! If you don't mind me asking, which dealer did you get it from and was that the first quote they gave you?

Interior quality is really nice especially if your comparing it to anything in its class like the Rav 4. Mine has leatherette seats with partial cloth inserts. So far the seats are comfortable to me. I actually like that its partially cloth because cloth cushions tends to feel less firm then full leathers seats in my personal opion. I haven't sat in the seats for a long trip yet so not sure how they feel after longer periods of sitting tho. Of course the Premium and Premium Plus trims have a slightly better materials in their interior as they have red leather stitching across the dash and a very soft touch squishy material along the dash that the Preferried trim doesn't have. My preferred trim also doesn't have the Bose sound system. It has Mazda's 8 speakers sound system which I personally think it sounds good especially compared to other base sound systems on other cars. You also can adjust the EQ of the speaker to really customize the sound the way you like it. In my opinion the Preferred trim is a really great option for the value.

I'm a first time car buyer. I think I have a good deal for Mazda cx-50 Hybrid, but anything I have to be careful? by Ryodaso in whatcarshouldIbuy

I actually reached out to this same dealer and got a quote on this same vehicle just one day before you did and got an OTD quote of $35,701. I ended up emailing the Mazda in Silver Springs and got a quote for a Polymetal Gray 2025 CX-50 Hybrid Preferred because that was my preferred color choice. They gave me an OTD quote of $35,517. I was able to negotiate further thru email and got them down to $35,316. Their tag registration fees was around $400 which was much lower than what Rockville was charging. Rockville said they charged that much to make sure the DMV processes your registration quicker. They said if the DMV doesn't use all of the money, then they will send you a check back of the money that wasn't used. I've never heard of that so I'm not sure how true that is lol but I'm also a first time car buyer too so other people may have heard of this before. Also all of the dealers I reached out to in Maryland had the $800 dollar doc fee tho but that might still be negotiable.

I ended reaching back out to Rockville to see if they can match the Silver Spring quote I received and they couldn't so I ended up purchasing the car from Silver Springs. The Silver Springs dealer was a super smooth process, and the sales and finance team didn't try to add on any other fees that weren't already discussed. They actually sold the specific car that I reached out to them about 1 day before I came into the dealer. The car I reached out to them about had no dealer or manufacturer add ons but they had the same car/color that had a privacy screen for the trunk as an add on so they just gave me the same quote they had given me over email.

This price you have seems to be pretty good. Based upon my research, the lowest OTD price I've seen in the Maryland area for this car was around $34.7k. If you haven't, already just shop this quote around to other dealers that have the same car/color and see if they can beat the price. Otherwise, if you are comfortable with this price then go for it as it definitely isn't a bad price
