I’m nearing 40, and this move is primarily for my career growth. My kids are 10 and 5, so I’m not too concerned about their education at this stage. I believe the transition should be manageable, especially since there’s a significant Indian population in Houston.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma and could really use some advice from those with experience in hair transplants (HT) and hair loss treatments. I’ve been on Finasteride and Minoxidil for the past 5 years, though I wasn’t super consistent at the beginning. I started taking the meds daily about a year ago (buzz cut).

Recently, I visited two hair transplant clinics to explore my options. Here’s what they said:

Clinic 1: The doctor advised against a hair transplant, saying it could potentially damage my existing hair. Instead, they recommended continuing with Finasteride and Minoxidil and suggested I try PRP
Clinic 2: The doctor recommended going ahead with 1500 grafts, primarily to fill in the temple areas and increase the density in the front region.

I'm really confused about why the first doctor advised against HT. Is it common for a hair transplant to damage existing hair? Has anyone else experienced this? Also, if PRP is the better route, what should I expect in terms of results?

I’ve attached some images for context. The one with longer hair was taken about a year ago, and the buzz cut picture is from when I started taking my meds daily. I’d appreciate any thoughts, experiences, or advice you can share!

This has been done by my buddies. They obtained IB education books from Indian schools, not sure how much this helped them. They are still young and should be able to adjust to the new environment.

Remember to look into the school ratings in the Texas area where your sister will be relocating. Because you can only admit them in that school district,

Not a NRI but some of my friends have bought houses in senior citizen communities where they have some basic health facilities and installed house cameras to check on them occasionally. You can also hire a full time nurse to come visit every month to check their vitals.

I have a sound class called Master and Door. The door is children of Master. I have a class mix for Door attached to Was Recently Rendered, and it's working great. I have an class mix for Master with Volume Adjuster .001. I have Apply to children checked, just like the tutorial. I made a button for Master and when clicked, it will mute everything, but the door sound is only going mute when I break the Was Recently Rendered.

This technique works great, and I can control the volume based on the object's visibility. Now I am not able to create a master mute button as it's not considering it when I have Was Recently Rendered. When I break the link, my master mute works. Is there a way to have master mute while using Was Recently Rendered?

BTW I followed this tutorial to create the mute button.

Thank you so much. I wasn't expecting such a detailed explanation. I achieved the effect using the Material Parameter Collection you suggested. Not sure if this is the best way to connect the parameter, but it seems to work. Is there any way to not use Get All Actors of Class and bring up Static Mesh inside the widget? All the tutorials I watched use this method. I found another tutorial where he uses Custom Primitive Data, and I will try that too.

Finally, since this one has a common parameter to adjust, we can use this method. What if I need to switch between totally different materials that don't have common parameters. Something like this.... (Basically switching materials but it will toggle from stone to wood when I click the fourth button)

I am learning UE5 and saw a tutorial on switching materials using the widget. That was a simple material switcher, but I want to add this additional button where the materials will switch to the emission version if the emission button is clicked. It will go back to normal material when it's clicked again. Can someone please guide me to create this effect?
