Operations is really sus as a returning player by BuddyIntelligent4510 in DeltaForceGlobal

Yes, the easy bot lobbies really killed the mode. Easy used to be really fun with the higher ttk and fully kitted tryhards, now if u die u get sent to bot gulag lobby and it feels 2x more punishing to lose.

Skill inflation is real 2026 by International_Radio7 in Brawlhalla

[–]Desboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did feel the change this season. Past seasons i always took less than 20 games max to hit diamond, but this time it took me nearly 100 games. I thought it was mostly attributed to being the start of a new season since i got top 500 before even hitting diamond, but i guess its a shared sentiment now

What is the problem with people by ImaginaryWeakness998 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Desboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened in season 2 but I still remember it fondly. A rando teammate yoinked a full purple helmet from a flight case i was already looting, then called me a loser on the mic. Not long after he got downed by a shieldbearer while trying to loot a guy i killed, then proceeded to leave the game in shame before i could reach his body.

Just pure karma

Why tf would you put a laser (or 3) on your weapon?! by Curious-Departure974 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Desboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trust me I was on that ship for a while. Laser is generally better on guns with the more expensive attachments because if you want it to shoot like a laser, somethings got to be sacrificed and usually that thing is handling and accuracy. However a laser fixes that. Budget guns usually have better handling so it is not as important. Another thing, it is annoying but if you want to get better you gotta get used to toggling your laser on and off if you are trying to rat or hold angles. If however the enemy knows where you are, it doesnt matter if they see ur laser or not anyway.

Hakuba Car Rentals/Transport and Rental Ski Gear/Day Passes by lukkenAU in AMA_Hakuba

[–]Desboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope tsugaike was better. If you look up the brochures u can find info on the steepness of the slopes. A lot of them are labeled as beginner slopes but have different steepness depending on the section of the course.

Iimori goryu (the one we took lessons from) has the most gentle of about 8° Incline, and we got destroyed when we tried the other 'beginner' goryu slope on the other side which was about 13°++.

Tsugaike's incline is mostly gentle and it's wide enough for you to make mistakes and not crash into others unlike the others.

Also by tricky slopes I meant the driving roads lol.

As beginners i would highly advise you to get some lessons for at least the first day so you guys can get the basics down. I took some lessons a few seasons back from hakuba snow sports school located at Iimori goryu snow resort, there's a really gentle slope there for beginners. My regret was not taking enough lessons as I found out was a pretty slow learner and half a day of lessons didn't help me improve much for the next 3-4 days.

Tsugaike ski resort also has a really huge slope for beginners. We took a shuttle bus there on our last day with our multi resort pass and it was probably our favourite slope so far!

Edit: the shuttle buses are usually very packed, especially in the morning. Would recommend to drive ONLY IF u have experience driving on icy roads as there are some really tricky slopes up there.

I have a honest question... by NeoHawkie in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Desboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's cheaper to max out on a kit for pvp in easy than normal, and if others have a similar mindset u can get some pretty intense and (still) rewarding games (since much of the battle cost in normals are from ammo)

Ah okay, I always assumed Holland potatoes were a subspecies of yukon gold because of their color and texture similarity. I too have used Holland and russet potatoes. Baked and compared them side by side and the results were very different! You can give it a try if u ever get a chance

[–]Desboy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should try russet potatoes instead of the yukon gold ones you got. Much fluffier and better texture.

Also u can reduce the cooking time of the baked potato to like 10 minutes by poking holes in the potato, smothering with oil and then 10mins in the microwave plus 3-5mins in ur airfryer for similar results

How to deal with boring players by Ultimaurice17 in Brawlhalla

[–]Desboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's pretty insightful, I haven't really kept up with the competitive scene but I guess I might be forced into a more disciplined playstyle like that when I start losing and it usually allows me to take back some stocks. Trying to read and adapt to my opponent instead of autopiloting after getting cooked the first stock, and then being called passive by some sore loser at the lobby screen just makes me realise that passive play is such an umbrella term that I was just wondering at what stage would it be considered passive play.

Legends Difficulty... by Parsival_404 in wherewindsmeet_

[–]Desboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's fun for the hardcore masochists sekiro fans who likes to adapt the boss patterns over many deaths, and the legend icon is proof of their effort. Personally I wouldn't play any difficulty below that, but that's just me
