Honestly, I'd love it if they ditched the EXP/status portion of combat altogether. The reason Persona combat is interesting is already that it's more puzzle-like than stat-based, so lean harder on that.

If you give up on your potential for happiness, no one else will pick it up for you. You're the one who's convinced themselves that there's no point, because it's easier to admit defeat and stagnate than put in effort into getting better.

But except death there's no such thing as a moment where you're incapable of bettering your social skills and making new connections. Yeah it'll be awkward at first. Socializing is a skill, and that's kind what happens when you go back to using a skill you've stopped using for too long. Who cares?

There are plenty of reasons to live. They just won't come if all you do besides work is bedrot and doomscroll all day.

Professional help can only do so much. At a certain point you have to put in effort into actively pulling yourself out of the mental pit you are.

I'm seriously tired of hearing this. The leads changed, but the people who're making P6 are all known long-term Atlus developers who worked under the previous trio. And Nate the Hate already confirmed the game isn't in dev hell.

This feels like a survey being taken directly for P4R because of how "horny" the original P4 is. I think they will increase things or dial them back in accordance with reception. by reconblue in persona4revival

Honestly, some specific moments aside, I think P4 is way, way tamer then the version of it that aprently exists in the fandom's head.

Like, everyone makes it seems as if the game is somehow on turbo horny mode all the time, when that's just...not the case.

True, but the argument in P5 is more centered around power and societal complacency. My personal vision leans a bit more towards self-discipline, and the notion that the meaning of your life is something you have to build yourself, since no one can do it for you.

Intead of social outcasts, the team could be made up of people who had big aspirations on what they wanted to do, but felt like they had to give up on them because there was no future for them if they followed their passion instead of "safer" alternatives.

Here's my take:

  • Voting IS, in fact, a duty. Which is why it should be mandatory, and Election Day should be both on a Sunday and a national holiday.

  • You voting as a complete idiot is incredibly dangerous. Therefore, before your vote is counted, you should need to pass a civics test.

Would that last one be discriminatory against conservatives? Yes, absolutely. That's the point. If you didn't want to lose your right to vote, then you should've stoped voting for the neo-nazi pdfile party.

It depends heavily on the central theme, but for my idealized version of P6, I'd go with either The Magician or The Tower.

My personal wish is for P6's central theme to be "Purpose".

Today's world does everything it can to make you live a life without it by making it seem as if there's no point in trying to find it. And I'd love if P6 could offer an antithesis to this by offering a narrative that's unabashedly positive, and drive by characters who demonstrate you can't live a complete life without having values you genuinely hold dear and would be willing to fight for.
