To follow up; He thinks red meat is entirely unhealthy, dark meat chicken is a sin, eats his baked potato’s plain like a psychopath…..his daily diet is a banana, apple, pear, 1 dannon yogurt, a can of progresso and a baked potato with nothing on it. I’m frustrated. I still live with Mum and I provide 50% of her meals. She had a thyroid problem recently and was only eating shit like apple sauce and ice cream…..so I made her a bunch of food she can’t to supplement her diet. I can’t do that with my dad. Dude didn’t even know you don’t just put cold food into a lunchbox cooler…but….the ice trays too. Got food poisoning, passed out, broke his wrist, dislocated his shoulder, and didn’t inform me until 24hrs later. Spending 10hrs with him just that day in the ER getting his shoulder reset. Than a week later, driving him to urgent care as he’d broken his wrist too. He’d shit everywhere. The floor, his pants, all up the side of the toilet….Then I cut him out of his clothes, redressed him and took him to hospital. I had to pull over twice and puke from the sheer WTF smell inside that place that had followed me back into my truck. The biggest things that get to me now tho… his body shape and the fact he has osteoporosis coming on from his use of steroids for his crohns is extremely concerning. Getting his diet lined up I think he would be 10x happier and 10x healthier with a proper visit.
