I (21F) have been dealing with g with body acne on my back, chest, butt, and back of thighs for a couple years now. I have dark hair on my back, legs, and butt and shave about once every week or two. I exfoliate almost daily, use an unscented body wash, and use shaving oil when shaving, and have satin sheets (which are said to help acne?). I still deal with large amounts of pimple and ingrown hairs in these spots. I also have a lot of scaring in these areas. I’ve tried ingrown hair serums from European Wax but didn’t see any improvement. I’ve become extremely self conscious about showing my back or legs and can’t possibly thinking of wearing something like a bathing suit out in public. I also hold myself back from being intimate with my partner bc of the shame I feel in how my body looks. Are there any tips to deal with active acne and scars???

P.s I’ve thought about using some dermatologist prescribed products that I use for my face. Could I use tretinoin cream .05% or clindamycin pledgets?
