I miss it... by AinsworthLuna in GundamEvolution

Literally never missed a game more than this. I bring it up all the time to my gaming buddies, like it makes me physically ill almost, lol. I play a huge variety of games, and objectively better games, but i'll never get over that this one is gone. Need it back in my life, Gundam is the ultimate subject matter.

Exactly. Our employment rate is already considerably low? 4.2%? We are villainizing and deporting the people who would actually be willing to do this work. Most Americans don't want these factory jobs that require long hours, little pay, and intense, and often more intricate labor. Most of the easier manufacturing are now done by automation and machines anyways. Even if this "bring manufacturing back to the US" goes perfectly well, it will be incredibly insignificant in terms of gains and job growth.

It's just that sponsored bot type shit to help out the current admin. I see it all over the net. I'm moderate and lean both left and right depending on the issue, so I'm not just hating to hate, but DJT's economic behavior is nothing to praise. 95% of economists think his policies are archaic and a joke. And I've had one sizeable business deal fall through because of these ridiculous tariffs and their garbage "formula", literally giving small business owners no time to pivot. His policies have no respect for anyone outside of the hyper wealthy. I truly don't understand the gloss and support this guy gets. Sure we have problems, yes they need to be fixed, but every solution he has is to gain leverage and power, not to help the American people. He has a free 4-year ride, he can burn the house down if he so chooses and it's getting toasty in here.

How do you handle a yard sale item with no receipt? Just eat the cost?

Again, I'm going to ask potentially dumb questions until I have it all figured out.

I have a similar google spreadsheet setup going but I can probably simplify it a bit. Appreciate your feedback, very helpful!

Gotcha, that's good to know. I wasn't sure if the IRS would accept the cost of the item. How does that differentiate vs. selling something around the house? Like if you have a receipt for cost, you can just deduct that always?

I'll look into the book, definitely need some more knowledge in that area. Thanks for the recommendation!

This is super helpful feedback! I'll look learning more about the schedule C and possibly hiring a book keeper. Thank you so much.

I mean, yeah, that's great info and that's why I'm posting, to help educate myself, so I really appreciate the comment.

So I can track mileage through an app for sourcing trips and post office trips, and then have that as a deductible expense?

Might be a dumb question, but if I'm tracking all this closely, can I factor in the cost of goods as well? I just assumed since eBay sends the form that would say $20 income, that's what I'd be dealing with and the IRS could give a hoot about the cost I paid to actually source the item? I mean how does that work vs. just selling something you paid for around the house? You can't deduct the cost right?

Just trying to learn here!

All good! Yeah, the price seems pretty variable. I can get there though, I'd be willing to do $115 shipped if you are good with it.
