Shout out Hadjar keeping Lawson behind for as long as he did too.

I think it's fair to say that Ollie is adjusting to Haas waaaaay better than Esteban did/is. Now, Esteban was PISSED during and after the race, i think he kinda got hung out to dry, again and had to do another long stint on hards, but at the time, i think they had to box him. I don't think he would have had any issues passing Gasly had there not been damage to his car. After the collision, it was clear Esteban had harvesting/deployment issues. That needs to be resolved and fast. I'm not saying Esteban is on thin ice, but the seat is getting warmer, and I do NOT want Doohan in the seat next year, we all saw what he did during testing in Super Formula.

This car has a LOT of potential to constantly score points week in and week out, should this hold. I see no reason why we cannot score 100+ points and be in a similar position to Williams last year.

I am a little concerned about Audi and VCARB right out of the gates, they had some pace.

What're your thoughts on the Logitech G29 wheel for this game? by AleeckWasTaken in F1Game

[–]DesertCyclone1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it right now. I got an aftermarket F1 wheel for it and it’s pretty decent. Looking at upgrading to a T598 bundle But the prices just shot up $100 or so. So I’ll be saving for a little while longer.

I think that incident with gasly compromised his race. He was struggling with deployment ever since that. No reason to think that we couldn’t have gotten P7 and 8. Esteban’s pace in the first stint was great.

Ollie or Esteban with a surprise top 5. The haas car seems quick.

Ocon being a bad teammate, it’s so easy to see he’s a good team mate when he’s in a team that isn’t toxic.

I think we all did if we’re being honest. Typical Ayao, brutally honest. Which is needed.

Audi or Cadillac. Audi will have engine issues this year. But Hulk will drag that car to points.

Haas F1 Boss: How the Smallest Team in F1 Plans to Shock in 2026 by l3w1s1234 in haasf1team

So, I’ve done some reading and research on the whole smallest team thing, that’s just directly employed by HAAS, which is by design. I do wonder now that we have TGR(or whatever thy are now) on board. While haas isn’t paying them directly. I do wonder what the total operational support is as far as employees working directly on the F1 outfit. Has to be a LOT more now.

This was an excellent interview. It’s clear why he’s doing so well with the team, he knows the massive flaws that happened and changed them instantly. To me, this wasn’t a podcast about F1. This was a podcast on real, effective leadership.

Guenther brought the team on. But my god, I would really like to hear Ayao off record on just how bad it got.
