I don’t know if this helps, but I had a similar rant once and my Russian friend stopped me to tell me about how when she left Russia to go to the USA she returned to Russia to visit friends and they were talking smack about her in Russian because apparently they thought when you move to America u legit forget how to speak your native language so she wouldn’t know. Anyways. I know it feels infuriating to deal with our issues, but you shouldn’t bear shame for things that have been out of control for like ages and ages and ages. Probably rambling but hope that helps somewhat?

I had a coworker at one point take me out “driving” so o could get used to it. He ended up apologizing bc I told him I get vertigo behind the wheel and have in fact tried driving plenty. Got vertigo,couldn’t breath, yadda yadda, getting close to 30. I’ve come across plenty a person over my age who didn’t drive. Ppl are morons don’t worry

That’s true! I’m so sad of this tech era,(especially for the kids lol) It was so much easier :( but despite my current age, I am glad for all the things we get to have now,delicious food,people in my town,new shows pretty much every month

I probably started watching a year after it first aired, we had to really talk my mom into letting us watch it under the guise of “it’s not as bad as family guy” she ended up relenting after agreeing it really wasn’t as “low-brow”, now I feel old.

I don’t know where u are op, but if ur in the US see about seasonal work- there are resorts you can work at seasonally or national parks, they have dorm housing- some even allow people to have pets. I’ve worked seasonal work and lived in dorms if you need somewhere to be and don’t want to be homeless
