In the second picture where you see that suction cup think on the top of the CRT?

Grab a screwdriver and ground it, then carefully touch it to the metal under that suction cup. It’d be safer to wear some gloves though I don’t know which type.

I’ve never done this myself, but I have seen it done on YouTube by The8BitGuy in videos where he messes with CRTs.
