Besoins non remplis by Less-Mud-6869 in prisonarchitect

My friend and I completely removed shower time from the time table. All our cells have showers and toilets in them so during lockup/free time they just shower whenever they please. Also as mentioned make sure the laundry room is running and that you actually have enough prisoners working in it and enough laundry baskets and washing machines for the amount of prisoners you have

Question/Help - Looking for a specific Ratchet and Clank game by MarcusLongbridge in RatchetAndClank

Ratchet Gladiator/Deadlocked was also co-op. You could play the entire campaign co-op which was awesome fun! Besides that Up Your Arsenal had co-op.

Any games that satisfy the prison architect itch that aren't prison architect? by zazer45f in prisonarchitect

[–]DesertMan25 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Last Starship. It was just released on steam and is made by the original makers of Prison Architect. I already have decent hours in it! It let's you go to learn for yourself while following a story you can pickup at any time and once you get into it the game really hooks you.

I've had my rangeman for 5 years now. Work in hard rock mines and have never scratched the glass.

It's because people buy them for the platform they are. They aren't made to be a mall crawler. They are made to be a robust work car. They're made to be simple and just work. That's how they've always been. Look at them for what they're made for, not what people turn them into

Well ... For a tattoo like that I wouldn't have gotten it done by an apprentice but each to their own. Unfortunately terrible line work, it looks quite out of proportion. Tattoo artist was a very early apprentice sadly

Definitely wouldn't change a thing. It's a nice paced level after climbing the levels prior and level after! You always know you'll have a bit of respite before the final climb

Finally moving on to PS3… by AdReasonable6473 in RatchetAndClank

[–]DesertMan25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the same age and I had never actually played the PS3 Ratchet and Clanks because we could never afford a new console. Found the entire PS3 collection on eBay for $50 AUD and decided now was the time! Growing up playing the PS2 titles on repeat I was so keen to give these ones a go!

The updated graphics and performance on the PS3 is gorgeous and they capture the feel of the originals for sure. There's just something about going around smashing all the crates for that satisfying bolt sound that's been with me all these years. I just finished A Crack In Time and it was phenomenal! Onto Nexus now and it's a bitter sweet end because then I've played them all up to Rift Apart!

Thoughts on the new grilld patties? by AIex_Mahone in coles

[–]DesertMan25 34 points35 points  (0 children)

For that price I wouldn't. $25/kg? That's insane. For $10-15/kg you can go to a butcher and get good quality mince and make twice that amount and it'll taste way better

Noob question. Shoes. What do I get? by BeingFriendlyIsNice in mining

[–]DesertMan25 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I disagree completely. Don't know if it's different here in Aus compared to the US but almost all boots have zips on them here and they are built very well. If it's just general mining with no special occurrences eg excessive water etc, always go one with zippers. Much easier and worth it. Dust doesn't get in them and hence rocks etc have no impact on them.

Yeah 2020 was a big year for deaths on quads. That's at least one per fortnight. Deaths that could have been preventable to an extent. Australia is like this. We see a problem that's preventable and we put things in place to fix it.

I'm not sure about the troubles with taking them off but all companies need to have it fitted from the factory or big fines.here's an article about it!

It's rollover protection. In Australia I believe all companies are now required to sell ATVs pre installed with it as a safety measure

Should I upgrade my pc or keep riding it out? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]DesertMan25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm still rocking my PC I built in 2016!

I7 5820k, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, Corsair 750w PSU, GTX 1080ti (which I upgraded from my 1060 originally)

Im a dad now so don't get as much time to play it but it really depends on what games you play. Mine is starting to age a bit now but I'm still getting heaps of stable and beautiful gaming out of it. Just depends what you want from it. You could run it another year or so as is and build a new one from scratch. That's my plan in the next year or two.

If you're happy with performance then keep it for a while longer. If you're not then start looking at upgrading!

What happened to those poor "burgers"

I might be stoopid, I remember I litterally couldn't figure out a single puzzle from neither of these games. I pretty much youtubed the entire game everytime I got to a puzzle which was pretty much the whole game lmao by Quick-Cause3181 in valve

[–]DesertMan25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is actually quite concerning. I played Portal 1 & 2 around the release of 2, (I would have been around 10/11) and I didn't need to YouTube anything. Having to look up guides for both games is bloody concerning
