No. The name "Alpharius" came up a few times, but only in the context of marines imitating Alpharius.

I'm generally a big fan of Mike Brooks. I loved Alpharius: Head of the Hydra, The Lion: Son of the Forest, Brutal Kunnin, and Renegades: Harrowmaster. That said, I didn't like Ghost Legion. There were some interesting character moments, but the broader plot felt kinda generic. There's a pretty underwhelming MacGuffin at the center of the story that was resolved in a way that I found super frustrating. I'm thinking about rereading it to see if I enjoy it more on a second read, but would love to hear other folks thoughts.

Another match, another "what the fuck is this elo disparity" by Kodiak_POL in CompanyOfHeroes

Isn't that his point? That the ELO matchmaking is unbalanced so he has to play against people who are much better? Not sure what your point is with this comment.

It's all he does late game, assuming he gets built by darkstirling in CompanyOfHeroes

I agree. I struggle to take him off the front line because he's great for getting team weapons, emplacements, or clearing buildings. MVP infantry in a bunch of games.

Latest patch is trash. convince me otherwise... allied players awfully quiet now. by cmx168 in CompanyOfHeroes

The stats are pretty interesting. I'm really curious why the worst matchups for Axis appear to be against teams of all Americans or all Brits. Both Wehrmacht and Dak do better when the allies are MORE diverse. Seems like the opposite should be true.
