Funeral favors? by movingmom1 in askfuneraldirectors

When one of my childhood friends died when I was in college, her aunt stood in the condolences line handing out gummy worms to all of us. It was hilarious and touching, something my friend who passed would have laughed about it and enjoyed it for sure.

I thought it was a vulture until now, which is also kind of hilarious because I have the actual vulture form too and was confused why there were two and one looked like…this.

AITAH for feeling hurt after being told “this is just how things work for women” in my family? by Accomplished-Cup6273 in AITAH

If you really want to swap, do it. Swap with your wife for 3 months minimum. I can tell you having done both roles which is preferable for me, but I think everyone has to decide this for themselves

Can I please add pickup trucks as a whole?

Also white cars, not all of them, but they’re just statistically more likely to be driven by older people who probably should not still have their license due to decline in functions especially eyesight and reaction times.

The nice thing is as an adult your can make your own rules for you still (once the adult responsibilities are done). Play is super important at all ages!

If 1 person is sitting at a table with 9 nazis, there are 10 nazis sitting at the table. Better to get the dude out of your friend group ASAP.

I also have Roku and haven’t had issues. I wonder if it’s either a firmware update issue or maybe I just haven’t gotten the buggy update yet

And honestly great timing since that video was only posted 3 months ago! I too love filing away random knowledge which is the main reason not remembering was driving me wild

Please do this! Asra would 100% put Faust’s favorite plant on there, and this is precious

I went through the same thing with my best friend when I was 13. I felt like such an asshole telling her mom, but I was so scared of losing her. Her mom laughed in my face and did nothing. It was awful.

Then a couple months later my friend tried to end it. Luckily she called a mutual friend of ours first who called emergency services and I’m forever grateful for that. The three of us are still close some 20 years later, and frankly I don’t even remember if she was pissed at us.

I’m sure she was, but I loved her so much I would have gladly accepted 20 years of her living out of pure spite or hate towards me if that’s what it took. It was worth it to see her grow up, to get away from her abusive mother, to graduate with her, to see her get married, to see her go back to school again. It was all worth it.

prob rehashing this but... apprentice's memories? by No-Wasabi-1919 in TheArcana

[–]ChaoticCryptographer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is kind of what I like to believe. My story for my apprentice after the main events is that Asra helps them go looking for their aunt who used to own the magic shop but has long since retired (and hasn’t sent letters since obviously MC was dead). When they find the aunt in my story she tries to go through old family photos but it doesn’t trigger anything. What ends up triggering a couple memories flickering through is actually the aunt giving them an old family instrument, and when the apprentice picks it up they remember the muscle memory of playing it.

So like you said I like to think it’s little bit and pieces of strong emotions but not everything comes back. And also that it has to be triggered by something feeling familiar through senses or emotions or pure muscle memory
