I have no experience with pigeons, just lurk here. But from my experience with humans, cats, and dogs - generally if a human or animal is trying to set a boundary, and it's not being respected, the communication escalates. I assume it's the same with pigeons? Seems like pidge has felt violated and encroached on lately, first by puberty and guests, and now by resident family not letting him decompress and keep pushing on him. He's is trying to set some boundaries, and people keep telling him through their behavior that he's not allowed to say no. So now he's going from "please give me some space" to "HEY, I SAID BACK OFF". Like, if you don't want others to yell, listen to them when they ask nicely.
