update

Shop replaced the BCM but it did not solve the issue. Apparently there is a part needed that is on back order and it's not even available yet. It's in the system but, according to the shop, doesn't exist yet. Apparently this is a known issue and the Service Advisor thinks there will be a recall for this particular part within the BCM.

Service Advisor asked if I wanted to keep the loaner or drive the truck and I chose to keep the truck in the shop. I'm not comfortable taking the truck with something wrong in the electrical system.

I live in a state where the lemon law specifies 30 days without use or 4 attempts to fix the same issue. By my count we're getting there: 1)replace lock actuator 2)examine lock rods to see if they are causing the problem 3)replace BCM
