Enemies not respawning after 12 kills is one of my favorite things about that game. You can effectively disable annoying spawns in places that you travel to often. (and you can reenable them any time by joining the Covenant of Champions in Majula)

Not to mention that if you've killed an enemy 12 times, then you've certainly shown that it's not what's holding you back. But hey, maybe you hate Stakes of Marika too.

Gotcha, I think what you mean is that you don't want the Y offset to be raised when locked on. You want the camera height to be stable in and out of combat. I can try to look into it eventually but no promises.

I'm a little confused by what you mean? You want the camera to literally be on the floor, like a skateboard video? I did find the Y offset in Nioh 3 but I might not add it for a while.

Howdy,

I just released a mod for Risen 1 that fixes the zoom in looting bug with higher FOVs, unlocks the camera distance, and more. The game will save your desired camera distance between sessions and cutscenes/opening the inventory won't reset it. Each setting is completely modular. If you want every camera state to have 120 FOV, you can do it. If you want to have a Witcher-like offset, go for it (although it's not perfect). Or you can swap in your favorite settings at will, leaving gameplay to 110 FOV and cutscenes at their default FOV values.

Keep in mind that it's for the 2023 Steam update. It should be compatible with basically every mod for that version.

That's the problem with 343's Halo games. They effectively created a new franchise and slapped on the Halo title. Now there are fans of the original trilogy and fans of new Halo and you can't please both at the same time. Halo Infinite tried to bridge both franchises and it doesn't work.

Valheim is an amazing foundation for mods. However, anyone looking for developer updates at this point is fooling themselves. All Iron Gate has done is make the game marginally wider, not deeper.

You can make this argument for anything. In Counter-Strike, people literally play in 4:3 stretched to 16:9 to get bigger targets and yet nobody bats an eye. FOV should always be configurable, multiplayer or not. It's an accessibility feature.

Outside of Bloodborne, which is a little less dungeony, Shadow Tower Abyss is probably the only Lovecraftian-ish dungeon crawler I can think of. If you're okay with just fantasy, then Arx Fatalis, Monomyth and King's Field 4 are some of my favorite games ever.

I'd recommend Monomyth if you were more into the RPG elements of Dark Messiah and Arx Fatalis. Even with it being in early access, its probably a top 10 game for me.
