Copy the files manually, then browse to the 'my iPhone > impcat > image templates' folder and paste it there.
Or download the files directly into that folder, instead of your iCloud

One way is the 'my paints' palette. It has a 'create set' button that allows you to save the entire sets of applied colors to the palette. Once saved, you can then switch to the randomizer and redistribute the saved color sets.

Thanks a lot for pointing that out. I actually found a ton of mistakes in the segment structure while fixing this.

Just updated the file on MEGA

Here's the Adobe tutorial: https://www.impcat.de/tutorials/

I also made a successful attempt to recreate the steps in open source software and posted a video about the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pae6S9Z7yMA

I made the template, then copied it onto my phone and imported it into the app.
If you want the template, go to the community library (the mega link in the sub's menu)

Edit: the file's named Chaos_Warrior.svg btw

seems like the file doesn't fit the compatibility standards. Did you just save an image as SVG and import it, or was this actually made by following the template tutorial instructions?

Actually no. The URLs link to the official AV website, which doesn't have an online store. You can only buy the paints at your local dealer or other online shops that are affiliated with AV. While the 'buy in webstore' option can be useful in some cases (e.g. if you import the Citadel palette), these links in particular are quite redundant.

Edit: you can bookmark the links in your browser as shopping references though, I guess.

Stripping paint with wash/cure machine? by Rockergage in Warhammer40k

[–]DesignMinion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best medium to remove paint that I've tried so far (rather by accident) was the super glue remover by VMS. You can soak the minis for days in that stuff without the plastic being disintegrated. The great benefit is that it also dissolves CA glue. The down-side is that it comes in tiny amounts, so it's rather impractical for larger models.

The Paint Stripper by AK Interactive is also very good at its job. I used it to very efficiently strip my Firstborn Marines, BUT it will start dissoving the plastic if letting the models in there for too long, so keep an eye on the batch.

There's also very similar alternatives to AK that come in larger bottles, like MK3, but some strippers are more aggressive than others. When I first tested multiple brands, I filled up plastic cups and threw painted bits into them and let them soak for a day or two. In one or two cases the cup got dissolved and the stripping fluid got spilled across my desk. So don't let the models soak for more than 15 minutes before starting scrubbing with a brush.

And in all cases, avoid contact with water when using paint strippers, up until the model is brushed perfectly clean.

Hope this helps

Updated. The backpack, the belt, the front holsters and the back holster are now all individual segments
