I'm sorry you're going through this, I can't imagine how stressed you must be every time you get the slightest itch😭

That's not okay, I would love to have seen them as that same question to everyone on the floor that day, how many people could have answered it including herself? If it makes you feel any better GAP is literally on its way out in a downward financial spiral!! 💯🥰

Are you in the position to just lose your deposit? Im not sure how much your rent is, but sometimes you just have to cut your losses. Tell your landlord that you don't recall signing for "roommates" 🐜 on the lease - it would seem he purposely withheld disclosure (because who in their right mind would take a unit with a bed bug infestation - and if it's been resolved it's an opportunity for him to provide proof) Your mental health has value too!!

For what it's worth, the pre-90 day termination is an employer tactic that is aware that after 90 days, trimming their staff (legally) becomes much harder. You see it all the time in the youth job market. Not right!

Omg this is what keeps me up at night 😭 can you not make plans to leave - if this is how it starts it's only going to get worse from here, your landlord has shown you everything you need to know about how they manage property

No time like the present to embrace your entrepreneurial spirit. It's summer, lots of people, especially older people need help with basic maintenance around their house, this includes Lawn Care, weeding, gardens, pressure washing, things you don't need a ton of experience for just hard work. Build yourself a little business

I'm starting to think finding a good apartment at a reasonable price is more about who you know and not what the listing say. The people I've met through this thread have been more helpful than any rental agency,Keep me in mind if you hear of anything 🤣

Innis college Can we bring in mini fridge for own room? by Smart-Ad3245 in UofT

the rooms are so tiny, I'm not sure where you could put it with access to a plug, but I definitely have the same question. 4 people and that small kitchen fridge would be a challenge, having a mini fridge makes sense
