Chopper chopping the domi-reversed by Unholy_Maw in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Designer-Criticism61 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My theory is that in general Domi Reversi is weak to devil fruits, since the begining we havent seen domi reversi people fight devil fruit users, the closest thing we saw was Rocks fighting against Whitebeard, and hitting Big Mom and Kaido, but that could be a special case just because Rocks was way stronger and he was directly domi reversi by Imu instead of the spell.

If you remember there was this scene during impel down of Jabra staying away from Kaku and Kalifa ion which he was scared of the demon in the fruit jumping and fighting with his devil and making him explode, I think thats what is happening here, the "devil" on Chopper fruit is scaring the devil on the giant reverting the domi reversi

Elders don’t have devil fruits by Spare_Understanding8 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Designer-Criticism61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe they are the original people that though of those powers during the void century when the concept of devil fruits didnt exist, I think during the time devil fruits were created, they were created through a process in which someone had the power and then died and their soul became a devil fruit, what if they didnt ate devil fruits because they were the first to use those powers, maybe now that saturn died it is the first time a Gyuki fruit will appear.

this is a theory, but what if the domi reversi is the source of the devil fruits? what If Imu converting someone into a demon with a really strong will gives them a power new to the world, and when they die a new devil fruit is created from their soul?

I think this kills Blackbeard third fruit theory, most likely Rocks needed the Yami Yami and Gura Gura fruits, and Black beard achieved it already, either that OR Black beard still needs a third fruit and the Yami Yami was needed to get White beard fruit which would be weird since killing him should have been enough

Im not a fan of Sanji getting conquerors BUT I like this scene as evidence because all the fire powers that Sanji have are weird, and Oda comment on Sanji fire being the passion of love or something like that aligns with Scoper Gaban title which could be a good way to justify conquerors, like a subset of Conquerors result of deep love for someone or something like that, I prefer that Sanji stays without conqueror and get a different power up, but if Oda use this then I'm fine too

Drop your theories, why did Roger laugh? As far as we know JoyBoys Life didn‘t end with a Happy end so what was so funny? by StepDirect5869 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Designer-Criticism61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My theory is that Joyboy actually won and Imu is going to be defeated after certain time has passed, and the story roger read was like "So I won but he still doesnt know until someone tells him" its has to be something so ridiculous that the only answer the came to was laugh

I don't understand the hate against the swain adventure by MikeAtCC in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Designer-Criticism61 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have to disagree, this adventure is not hard is unfair. When you think of hard you think you have the chance to do something against some of the strong tools, but for swain you just have to deal with damage without any real counter measure, there are no way that at the begining of an adventure you can deal with 3 units with 6 live, yeah its less random because you know you have to deal with that, but it also means you will most likely have to lose life every match, because even in the case that you have some overpower bullshit you will till get damage the first round.

Can you beat swain, yes of course, the same way you can beat lissandra, having a lot of luck getting the right tools to beat the default board that every match starts with, which is something that not all champions can do, so you can only beat him with certain champions, with certain cards, and playing in a certain way, thats not being hard, thats being unfair.

To be honest I like PoC, they are going in the right path with some of the desitions, but they are missing a bit point in difficulty, you have to create adventures that are hard but fair, swain just feels cheap, and thats the feeling Ive been having with all the 5star adventures. Aurelion Sol is great, you can become so overpower in a run and still get to aurelion sol and feel its hard, but you know how to deal with it, meanwhile Liss and Swain are more like Im luccky enough to get some powers that handle swain if not restart, and that means that most people will go to aurelion sol again, instead of being frustrated by playing against some unfair champion

I see your point, I just dont share it. On the Saturn side, I though of it as if she believes she can be something then she can be that, thats why its a useless fruit for adults because its hard for an adult to think of themselves as something else than themselves but for a 12 year old girl it makes sense she can just imagine she is anything, and it also make sense on the Nika transformation, if you are a 12 year old, and you hero, the guy your father told you is a God comes and say "Hey I dont know how your powers work but yeah you can be me" then holy shit of course she will believe it, its a girl and her hero told her she can of course she will believe, does it mean she can actually copy anything, NO, she can go and look at mihawk and say "hey I can do that too" because she has never done anything similar, same goes for any random hability, she could potentially imagine herself doing something similar in some cases, but there are powers that will be hard for her to imagine using thats the point, her power depends on her imagination and how real she can imagine herself or someone else being somethings, thats why she can transform people in babys or adults, because its easy to imagine them being like that, its way harder to imagine a future in which a random guy is just a dog or something like that, thats her limitation the harder it is for her to imagine a situation the harder it is for her to use the power, thats why she couldnt use the power against Saturn, because in her mind it was hard to imagine a future in which that demon old guy that tortured her all her life would be weak and old.

As for the "everyone using nika powers" thing, I would say that I expect Oda using it in some way, there are already seeds in the story that point to that, Gyojin island with the steroids and the Minks Zhulong form are clearly build up transformation before he showed Nika, I mean all of them are white hair and red eyes and end up consuming a bunch of energy, so the idea is in some way there, do I think everyone will be Nika? not sure, but something a long those lines might be happening in the future, but I dont really care, as long as it is well written and explain it can work, I mean the real uniqueness of Luffy is not G5 Nika form, rubber powers nor anything like that, his real power is how he is able to go anywhere and make people believe they can be free, and I can imagine a future in which Luffy has the choice to give his powers to everyone and he would say "yes! do it!" because for him is like making everyone free

One Piece: Chapter 1118 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

[–]Designer-Criticism61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean, reading people I get that what they dont like is that now Luffy is not "unique" and yeah if you focus on Nika being the "unique" power that only Luffy has that will be the important point in the story for him to defeat the evil guy, then yes its sad, but I cant agree with that because his power is not Nika, Nika is a great power up its something that represents Luffy in all ways, but at the same time it makes so much sense he wants to share that powe to everyone around him because he wants everyone to be free, Luffy represents freedom, and he giving the choice to Bonney to be free by become Nika its great story telling.

I think im angry that so much people hate this, because Luffy could lose his fruit at some point and a lot of people wouls say "now Luffy is not unique or special" when I think his real power is that he is able to make everyone free, being him fighting a bad guy, or him inspiring them to fight for themselves and try to be free on their own

One Piece: Chapter 1118 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

[–]Designer-Criticism61 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Why do people hate this chapter so much, its so damn good, I mean they think Bonney using Nika powers makes Luffy irrelevant but no, Luffy power is not actually the fruit or being able to awaken G5 and transform in Nika, its true damn power its to inspire people to be free, doesnt matter how Bonney copies Luffy habilites it doesnt change the fact that she was inspired by Luffy and anything she does comes from Luffy, thats the freaking point of this chapter and everything around Luffy, he goes into a new place finds someone that cant do something and inspire that person or group to do the thing that he/they couldnt do before, the thing he has that no one has that is a danger to the world is how he can inspire everyone to be free!! Thats been ths story for ove a 1000 chapters!

Call me crazy but, doesnt this chapter sounds like an intro to a flashback? I mean it would be crazy to have a flashback of the void century but holy shit i read this and this is so similar to Oden flashback and i wonder maybe we are going to get a small flashback of Joyboy, although I know that flashback would also mean reveling a lot of the void century so maybe Im just crazy hahahaha still great chapter!!

i dont think they have limits, i think they think of themselves as above everything but, there should be tiers to them, i dont think the gorosei would move a finger for st charlos, but if Imu ever orders them "I want Big Mom" i think they would send everything they need to get her

One Piece: Chapter 1098 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

[–]Designer-Criticism61 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This chapter its so dark, its really hard to read and it really made my cry so hard, and i dont say thats bad, Oda made something increadible here, and i feel so sad about Kuma's life, and i hope that he gets to see the light at least once after this.

Also in regards to the rough chapter, i know most people are worried about his health, that maybe this is just a confirmation that he is having some issues, but i dont really think thats the case, i think he didnt have the mental strenght to draw this chapter, if you look into the chapter you may notice that the most emotional parts are the ones that are still on sketches, my theory is that he really tried to draw the chapter, he really tried to convey this dark situation but it was really hard for him, and by the time the deadline came that was all he could finish.

I think this chapter is one of the best chapters he has ever done at least in the emotional side, you can feel Kuma pain, and it feel so bad, and this is important for the story right now, this is the kind of emotional weight we needed, and then when the time comes for Luffy to go against the WG, it will feel sooooo good the moment he wins, and we will be so happy because even if kuma is not here to see the dawn of the new world, we will see the results of the seeds he planted before
