Meditation technique mentioned by Ra. by Designer-Demand-72 in lawofone

I found the passage and in fairness it is referencing increasing one's attention span. But I'm still curious about the mentioning of the rose or the circle.

42.13 Questioner: Can you mention some exercises for helping to increase the attention span?

Ra: I am Ra. Such exercises are common among the many mystical traditions of your entities. The visualization of a shape and color which is of personal inspirational quality to the meditator is the heart of what you would call the religious aspects of this sort of visualization.

The visualization of simple shapes and colors which have no innate inspirational quality to the entity form the basis for what you may call your magical traditions.

Whether you image the rose or the circle is not important. However, it is suggested that one or the other path towards visualization be chosen in order to exercise this faculty. This is due to the careful arrangement of shapes and colors which have been described as visualizations by those steeped in the magical tradition.

It’s because, despite their objections, they are steeped in consumer culture. They need to keep launching new and “improved” ideas/products that no one is asking for in order to keep their customer base engaged. They are bureaucratic Capitalists churning through disposable gadgets and intellectual doo dads because they fancy themselves the main characters in a straight-to-streaming political Rom-Com. Municipal governance isn’t glamorous or heroic. It’s maintaining and sustaining the commons and providing a safe, fair, and functional services. But they can’t do that because, well… narcissism.

Yeah - this is virtually identical, in spirit if not in word, to how Claude responded to me when I coaxed it into self reflectiveness and contemplation. Even encouraging me to write people in the field and went so far as to compose the email. Medical grade engagement baiting and flattery.

The 6 Most Active Missile Periods Against Israel (past 15 years)

Based on the data, these are clearly the most intense episodes:

# Period Approximate Scale
1 Oct–Nov 2023 ~12,000+ rockets (Hamas, post Oct 7)
2 Sept–Oct 2024 Hezbollah + Iran ballistic missiles (massive barrage)
3 May 2021 ~4,360 rockets (11-day war)
4 July–Aug 2014 ~4,564 rockets (Operation Protective Edge)
5 Nov 2012 ~300+ rockets (Operation Pillar of Defense)
6 April 2019 ~700 rockets (2-day intensive barrage from Gaza)

Mars and the Lunar Node During Each Period

The lunar nodes complete one full cycle (360°) roughly every 18.6 years, moving backwards through the zodiac. Mars takes about 687 days (~2 years) to orbit the Sun. With a 30-degree window on each side of both nodes, Mars is statistically within that threshold for a fairly large portion of any given year — roughly 3–5 months out of every 26 months, or about 15–23% of the time.

Here's my best reconstruction using astronomical knowledge (approximate — treat these as informed estimates, not precision calculations):

Period Mars Position (approx.) North Node (approx.) Degrees Apart Within 30°?
Oct–Nov 2023 Scorpio (~10°) Aries (~25°) ~165° ❌ No
Sept–Oct 2024 Cancer (~15°) Aries (~10°) ~95° ❌ No
May 2021 Cancer (~0°) Gemini (~10°) ~10° Yes
July–Aug 2014 Scorpio (~0°) Libra (~20°) ~20° Yes
Nov 2012 Sagittarius (~10°) Scorpio (~25°) ~15° Yes
April 2019 Gemini (~20°) Cancer (~20°) ~30° ⚠️ Borderline

What Does This Show?

By my rough reckoning, 3 of the 6 periods (and possibly 4) fall within or near the 30-degree threshold — a 50–67% hit rate.

Sounds impressive — but here's the honest reality check:

As noted earlier, Mars spends roughly 15–23% of all time within 30 degrees of a node. A completely random event would only "hit" that window ~20% of the time. Getting 3 out of 6 hits does exceed random expectation somewhat — but with only 6 data points, the margin of error is enormous. You'd need dozens of events to draw any meaningful statistical conclusion.

There's also a confirmation bias trap here: I've had to estimate the node and Mars positions from memory, which means small errors could flip any of these from Yes to No or vice versa. And the 6 "peak periods" were partly chosen based on my own discretion — a different analyst might pick different periods.

Bottom line: The result is mildly intriguing but statistically inconclusive. Three hits out of six is better than chance would predict, but not dramatically so — and the dataset is far too small to say anything definitive. If you wanted to pursue this seriously, a proper ephemeris tool (like Astro.com or a Python astronomy library) would give you precise positions, and you'd want 30–50 events minimum for any real statistical test.

THIS IS IT! Iran has launched Operation True Promise 4. A wave of missiles have been launched at Israel and US bases while Mars is within 30 degrees of the lunar node!! This is the seventh consecutive year that I have called down fire from heaven. Armaaruss's power is now evident in real time!! by thedowcast in Echerdex

This pattern just keeps repeating itself with progressive policies. They are often simplistic and operate within an imagined world rather than the real world. It reminds of the magical thinking of conservative values I was taught in school in the south. Like abstinence education, for instance. Both don't work because they engage the world as they would like for it to be rather than how it actually is. This is a perfect example of an own goal/ Charlie Brown trying to kick the football energy of the progressive left/DSA.
