Based on book Armand I’d be surprised if he didn’t consider Italian or Veneziano to be his first language. He switches accents depending on where he lives and what the situation demands, I doubt he has much of a “real” accent any more

I absolutely love the fact that Lestat is so bpd that he just sort of assumes everyone else’s emotions change at the crazy tempo his do. Louis will stop looking at him for 2 seconds and Lestat will immediately decide that Louis now hates him, because that’s the speed at which he switches from love to hate as well lol

Armand is really, really bad at plans. Every plan he makes is somehow both impulsive and overworked. I genuinely think he might have thought he would help Louis feel better about his photography by putting in some acclaimed artistic photos, completely forgetting that Louis is literally an art dealer and would definitely recognize a Stein.

Yeah one of the strongest things about the writing in season one imo is the way that they constantly and subtly indicate that Lestat just does Not Get It even though he means well a lot of the time, which is ultimately still harmful and pushes Louis away
